Booked for 6.30pm 31st December as we were staying overnightin the hotel for the New Years celebrations. Booking was taken and confirmed but I was not made aware that the menues displayed on Menu Pages would not be available. There was a set 4 course dinner only available for 40euros each. We had to abandon the plan to eat in the restaurant and ate in the bar. Food was lovely there, however I think customers should be made aware of similar dining restrictions which may exist before confirming the booking.

The service was very slow. We were tucked away in a corner and it was difficult to get the attention of the waiting staff. The food was nice, nothing spectacular.

This was our first visit to the restaurant and overall the experience was good. We were happy with the food and although it was not full early on Sunday evening we found the service to be very slow, especially after finishing our main course. After a long wait we had to ask for the dessert menu and then waited ages for the teas/coffees.

We looked at the early bird menu which is not advertised on the web site and quickly figured out that it wasn't good value with many of the choices yielding no savings over the A la Carte menu. Two had tomato brischetta, one rissoles and one the prawn bruschetta. All good. One pork in parma ham, one seafood risotto, one salmon and prawn pasta all excellent. The pizza was very diasppointing - the base wasn't very thin. Overall though it was good and we will go back again.

Myself and my husband went to this restaurant for a romantic meal. Upon arrival, the restaurant was very, nice atmosphere. The service was great, but the restaurant was very quite with only 3 other table being occupied. When the restaurant got busier, the service was very lacking. Felt very abandoned, not enough staff working to deal with the workload in my opinion. The food was average, nothing special about it. Would I return, possibly not for the value of what you are getting.

Shared the Parmiagana started which was very substantial. Delicious home made pasta - rich sauces. Disappointing that the desert menus never arrived. Service was quite slow..Early Bird looks like great value

Have been there before, but they've changed the name and the menu - was very pleased about that as there is not that much choice in the Dublin 15 area. Really nice woman served us throughout the meal, no rush between starter and main course which I like as you don t want to be in and out in an hour! The food/wine was very good not cheap but then with 2 bottles of wine it always pushes the price up, it was very quiet which we really liked, I'd say maybe a lot of people don t know about it.. will be back

On the plus side, decor was lovely and food was fine. But, the night was spoiled by the excessive cold air blasting from the air conditioning directly on to our table. (it was 10 deg outside). Despite asking if it could be lowered down, it seemed to get even colder. We were just so uncomfortable that we adjourned to a nice cosy pub afterwards just to thaw out.

Gorgeous. From the rich red decor to the excellent service, tasty food and good value the whole night was a pleasure. The lady who greeted us and took our order was very professional and friendly. The food was delicious and there was a very good choice on the menu. An early bird has just been added to the menu so we will be back for that soon.

This restaurant was very good. The food was of very good quality and the service was excellent. I had the Caprese salad to start and had the sea bass for mains. I must really rave about the tiramisu it was one of the best I have sever tasted. The décor is red and lots of querks in the place. Blanch does not have a vast choice for places but I would def recommend here

We had a pleasant evening. Grandaughter had a Haiwian Pizza which was huge and delicious (had a taste) at €18, was too much for a child - they should include this on the children's menu in smaller sizes. We had Jumbo shrimps in chilli and garlic (not particularly notable) and Field and Wild Mushroom, in a garlic cream, which was served on a toasted piece of bread, this wasn't worth the money and not enjoyable. The mains were the cornfed chicken which was tasty and the breaded pork fillet which was enjoyable. I would not hurry back, but it is nice to have a classy restaurant in the centre at last.

I went to Fochetta on the 7th of March with my husband and family.Firstly I was well impressed with the interior of the restaurant which was covered with paintings of forks and fork displays, hence the name of the restaurant!! The staff were very friendly and the food and wine were very good even down to the cool shaped wine glasses. We had varied starters including the suppli, zuppe and mushrooms on garlic bread, all very tasty. For main courses we had between us, baramundi, sea bass, chicken and steaks, all washed down with some refreshing pinot grigio.Overall it was a great dining experience,so much so i am heading again Sat night with my friends, can't wait!
