Visited on a cold evening to a handful of people in the restaurant opted for a meal deal for two adults and asked for garlic chips. The restaurant was quite cold and when we enquirer we were told the heating was broken, this became evident when our waitress served us in her coat. We were foolish enough to have stayed and under health and safety the restaurant should have been closed. The bill was a disaster mainly as we ordered garlic sauce so the deal didn't apply and they wanted to charge €3 each for garlic sauce. The staff don't really care this has been my second and last visit to the store. They should look at their competitors and realise why this franchise is never full very poor experience. We were reluctantly refunded the difference in the garlic sauce but eating in artic conditions isn't the American Dining Experience.

Myself and my family arrived at Eddie Rockets this evening at 8.10pm. Got a seat straight away, a girl took our order at 8.20pm. My husband asked how long the food would be, she replied about 15 mins. A couple of other people that came in the same time as us were told that their food would be delayed after their orders were taken so they all left. At about 8.50pm I asked the girl would our food be much longer, she said all orders were delayed as they were short staffed! During this time anyone who called were turned away, but they seemed to still be doing the home delivery service?? Eventually we got our food! My Burger was wrong and had to go back, another 10 mins waiting for it to return, half of the food we got was inedible. The chips were all soaked in (old) grease, the nuggets were burned and there was an odd taste off the buffalo wings. We asked to speak to a manager, he did agree to knock 50% off our bill. Half the food was given back anyway? He did come down with more fries but they were as inedible looking as the ones we didn't eat, he did offer us free desserts which we refused as it was getting late by then and we had 4 children to get home. When I went to pay the bill which with the discount should have been €32, the girl said we owed €40 I told her no it was only €32. She said we must have ordered extras! Which we didn't. I paid the €32 and left. Would also like to add that we were seated near the door which was open all the time as it was faulty and we were freezing! Will not return here again. The staff seem to be under a lot of pressure, and the girls working the floor seem to be taking a lot of complaints from customers? Have witnessed this the last few times we were here. I think the place has gone downhill in the last while and I think it's because they are doing home deliveries and obviously don't have enough staff to cover this extra work.

Eddie Rockets does what it says on the window but pay a price yes they have family deals but don't expect much change out of a €50!euro note. Service is excellent, the restaurant was full and the food wasn't hot when it arrived, the chips had been left as had the wings the best thing was the malt at a steep €3.75. Eddie Rockets is steady and reliable and you will go back. They need to pay attention to their toilets though.

Was with my wide and two children. Ordered food at 16:45. Food arrives at 15:05- well most of it. Was told that there would be a few minutes of a delay on a burger. Never a problem. These things happen. However- Bacon and Cheese fries undercooked- soggy Onion rings- same problem. Soggy. Led me to believe they were frozen. Asked about the missing burger ten minutes after food arrived . Was told it would just be a sec. Went to pay at 25 past. Still no burger. No excuse. Profuse apologies by a very well mannered young man in charge. He did ask me if everything else was okay, so I told him about other issues, pointing out that at €50 for what was to be a family treat, the food was simply unacceptable. There was a time in Eddie Rockets when a member of staff came to check on your table to see if everything was okay within a couple of minutes of receiving food. Add that to a general drop in the standard of food (Swiss Cheese on a burger was like white cheddar), music so loud that I had to talk loudly to be heard (quite stressful) and I am left wondering at how the mighty have fallen. Seriously needs to pull up their socks to make the grade.

We love Eddie's in Walkinstown - conjoined with a Lidl shop on a Friday evening. Tucked away. The staff are excellent - I admire the way they upsell. The combo is great value. Free wifi was great - but it's been non-active over the last few weeks.

Having 2 kids we have eaten in various eddie rockets at different stages and its normally not bad and good value at €25 for 2 adults burgers and 2 kids meals with fries and drinks. Decided to drop into the one in Walkinstown this evening as we where in the area. Arrived at 18:15 and got a seat straight away which was great but 20 mins later we where still waiting for someone to come and take our order. Eventually we managed to attract the attention of one of the staff members. Ordered the food and had to wait another 45 mins for the food to arrive. Now for me i think waiting over an hour for a couple of burgers is probably a bit much. Then when they arrived they where so cooked they where crunchy, and not up to the usual standard. We complained about the wait and the crunchy burgers, and to be fair they knocked a fiver off the bill but i will stick to the other locations in future. They usually are good value but when the service and food are not up to scratch then its going to stop me going there in future.

Had lunch in Eddies today with a few of the girls. I had chicken fillet burger and chips with a vanilla shake to drink. The chicken fillet was very nice but the chips were only luke warm which was a bit dissapointing. Most of the girls went for the mixed baskets, they are good value at 10 euro and there is a mix of things in them eg 2 chicken tenders, 2 small burgers, chips coleslaw etc. They went down well, service was very friendly and efficent as well even tho' it was quite busy with Friday lunchers.

Never thought that I'd say I got good value in Eddie Rocket's but a burger, fries and coke for a tenner is ok in my book. Only complaint is that it took a while for order to arrive and I was practically salivating. Had burger with jalapenos, sour cream etc. Delicious. My mouth was tingling after it. Friend had veggie burger which got thumbs up. Would have preferred not to see member of staff sneezing in to his hand. Well, would have preferred to see him go wash his hands afterwards, rather than wipe them on a tissue...

Love Eddie Rockets, first time in this branch. Had classic burget with bacon and onions, garlic fries and a strawberry malt. Wife had chilli nachos and coke. Friends had chicken tenders and sliders with chips and drinks, nephew had buffalo wings, fires and drink. Food was delivered quickly and came out lovely and hot as always. Hadn't got room for dessert. Dinner for 5 cost about 65, not the cheapest but worth it now and again. Disappointed that the dessert menu has been deverely cut down. Will miss the Smarties Sundae.

Really enjoyed my trip to eddie rockets this evening. A new menu is in place with meal deals of six fifty or ten euro as well as an offer to add drink and fries to your burger order for an extra three euro. I went away from my usual chicken tenders and garlic fries today and got the mozzarella burger and sweet potato fries... lovely but I wasn't to fond of the sweet chilli dip with the fries, I would prefer if I was offered a choice. I love eddie ockets for an occasional casual treat, and will be back!

Still the best burger place in Dublin. Food is tasty American style fast-food, malts are beautiful and service is good. This particular branch is fantastic, there is never a huge crowd so you can linger over your meal, you aren't rushed out the door like you are in some of the city centre branches. The one downside is that it is quite pricey for what it is.

You just can't beat a real American burger and cheese fries I think. I love this place, burgers are delicious and interior is decorated in a funky fun style. Only thing is....I found it quite dear for a diner type place...you had to buy the chips seperately from the burger and this just added on costs.
