Very friendly and efficient staff - lovely to see Janet (ex Golden Ball) doing a great job. Good food, reasonably priced for pub-grub. Definitely worth a visit if in Stillorgan area.

My wife and I are new to the area and we tried out this place for an early dinner. There are two eating rooms, one of which is open only at weekends. The main eating area is a restaurant cum bar, and its dark décor lends a bit of a gloomy atmosphere to the place. But in fairness I have to say that the friendly and helpful service together with an excellent menu and excellent food more than compensated for this. We started with two different very tasty shrimp concoctions and then each had a steak for the main course. Mine was a striploin and my hers was a fillet and both were tender and cooked to perfection. Perhaps a tiny gripe was that the chips were made from rather pock marked potatoes. All in all this was a most successful evening, we would come again, and the reasonable pricing also left us with a good taste in our

Great value for money, food tasty & well presented. Not fond of microwaving deserts. Destroys the pastry. Staff very efficient and friendly. Good choice on menu for lunch. The stage a bit of an eye soar but they have to fill the place & make some money.

I often meet up with friends for lunch or an early dinner before the cinema here, excellent value for money. The food is tasty, though far from haute cuisine. Much better than some pubs that have a carvery, all food is prepared in the kitchen after you order it. I particularly like the hamburger. I once had the Steak, which was on special, but it was a bit on the thin side, but then again what can you expect for <€20.

Had lunch here on a quiet Fri afternoon with a friend, was to be a treat but was not the case, the food was just ok, menu lacked imagination, small portions, overpriced, staff very laid back and seemed like they rather be any were else. Toilets unclean, overall I was very disappointed , I used to frequent the Stillorgan Orchard a few years ago when I worked in the area and all I can say is that it has gone seriously down hill. I was sorry I didn't go to McDonalds for half the price.

Had lunch today with some girls from work to celebrate a birthday. Service was superb and the food was fab. Was nice to enjoy some lovely Summer salads. I had a the prawn, chili and garlic salad which was melt in the mouth...the prawns were really really good. Its a great place and worth an evenig visit.

This is a favourite of our family as a treat after work at the end of the week. We go to the bar and we have always been very happy with the food and service alike. It is relaxing and a lovely way to start the weekend! we have tried alternatives recently just to see what is out there in vicinity but we are back to Stillorgan Orchard. we have been coming there for years now and it is nice to see same faces every time we are there!

I have gone to the orchard many times, it is a favourite of mine and my partners. We have never had any complaints about the food... From the starters the crab salad prawns and salad caprese are all yummy.... The Thai Green curry is amazing but you can't go wrong with the steak sambo or burger either! The staff are always pleasant. We also have the loyalty card which is nice when places give something back to their regulars! My only gripe would be I was told by a friend who had visited last weekend about drinks prices going up on at sat when the band starts this would definately out me off visiting on nights when bands are playing!

After reading other reviews for the Orchard, my experience couldn't have been further from theirs, we ate here on a relatively quite friday and opted for the 4 courses for €19.95, I had the prawn skewers that were lovely and my counterparts had spring rolls which they lapped up with gusto. For main I had the burger & chips which was equally tasty and the others had chicken tenders & chips that were very fresh. As we were too full for dessert the waitress very kindly wrapped up our 3 apple pies & included a large helping of cream & custard. When we did eventually devour the pies they were done in a lightening fashion. For what it is - pub grub it was excellent value & good food. Will be back

Just back after meeting three potential colleagues for a bite to eat. As two of us arrived early and were hungry we decided to go ahead and eat. We ordered and when food arrived both of our meals were cold...I mentioned it quietly to the waitress...she apologised, took both meals away...then came back and asked if we wanted the same order...We said yes but we wanted freshely cooked meals. The manager came out, sat down beside us and apologised, that he couldn't understand how the steak was cold..maybe it wasn't under the lights etc. He disappeared and after a short while the food came out...plates were hot this time...and our other colleague arrived at this stage. We sat discussing business for at least another hour and at last orders, the waitress asked if she could give us the bill. She did and there wasn't any gesture e.g. giving us a drink on the house. We paid, no tip obviously, and she apologised again with absolutely no sincerity. I said it to her about a small gesture...and she ran away and got the manager. He came out and said it was his fault, I should have done something but still he didn't. We had a taxi outside so had to leave but they lost our business and as I said to the manager as I left 'word of mouth is a terrible thing' Service was appaling and the pub was empty so they obviously don't value business.

Our Friends suggested the Stillorgan Orchard for Pub Grub last Saturday. We were not that keen but went along with the choice. We were really pleasantly surprised firstly by the extent of the menu but also by the friendly and efficient staff. Two had Thai Chicken Curry , I had a normal Chicken Curry and one had the Salmon from the specials. There were eight glasses of wine and as I was driving I had one pint and a coffee. The Bill for the lot was 100.40 which was good value for the quality. I will go back again.

Have eaten here once or twice because its a handy location for after work. The food is of poor quality, I would expect much better even if it is only pub grub....

We have eaten in here many times before and the food is what I would consider to be good pub grub. Its not amazing and its not horrible just good wholesome food at good prices. The service is always good though they regularly seem to be run off there feet but we are never in a rush and the pints are good.
