It was a lovely visit there were 6 adults and 1 baby (22 month old) the waitress was new but she didn't have a great personality. She told us that she was here about two weeks she did like it but was better than sitting at home. nAnother waitress gave my granddaughter some pencils and paper to colour in.nThe meals were lovely but just too much. We all had a lovely evening. But please if this young waitress wants to become a nice waitress she should smile more and try and be cheerful at her place of work.

good food. however when we tried to get a table on 5 December was told only regulars and we needed a reservation. I live in Sandymount and go there at least 3 times a month and never has a reservation been needed but this night for some reason and never advertised on door we were told no. Also the guy at the door very rude. Will not be back.

Great pizza, grand service (adorable), it's well worth it and good value. The Parmesan was lovely and the salad was delightful.

This is not a good restaurant. It looks & feels like a cheap cafe and the food is quite basic (probably lots if frozen stuff microwaved before serving). I couldn't recommend going to it at all.

Marios is OK. I call here when I am alone and peckish and generally have either 'polo mario' or a burger. The burger is good and is different from burgers elsewhere, though lately the 'Big Mac' in MacDonalds is really good value with medium chips for 3.80euro, and it's hard to beat that! Back to Marios. That one annoying thing about Marios is the difficulty in finding a place to park. Having found a parking place however, one can only be satisfied with what's on offer at Marios. It has a happy sort of athmosphere, and it is a favourite of mine.

A friend had rated this place as excellent, so I was quite eager to experience Marios. Pleasant layout, and decor. Food was quite average, however the service was a real letdown. The waitress made us feel as if we were doing her a favour ordering food. On the plus side, we had managed to get parking directly outside, so leaving there after eating was quite prompt.

The only thing I enjoyed about this visit was the location , its nice & bright and fairly well maintained , food was just ok at 13.95 for main course ( special was 18.95) although my lasagne was not as hot as I would have liked/expected , waitress was reasonbally friendly , but staff memeber taking payment , never said thanks , how was meal etc . Wont be back

The service was very poor and the food was unpalatable. - I ordered the special which was pan roast chicken with roast vegetables tarragon and honey sauce. The dish came out with a coagulated sauce on a very dry overcooked butterflied chicken breast. The sauce was extremely bland. The chicken came with rocket and peppers and not the oven roast veg as advertised. When I question this I was told it didnt come with roast veg. I highlighted the special board said roast veg. 15 minutes later , the waiter brought out broccoli, green beans and asparagus that limp and soggy , cooked within an inch of its life and swimming in butter. -The person dining with me order the tagitelle al pollo - and described it as "average" - The waiter cleared my dining partners plate before i was finished and did not come back to clear my plate at any point. We placed my plate to the side on empty table and it was cleared 5 minutes after this. We asked for the bill but nobody came back to us with the bill after more than a 20 minute wait. - We tried to get the waiters attention numerous times and eventually gave up and went up to the counter to pay. - I didnt leave a tip as the service was so poor. I have never not tipped before. - The main course at 16.95 was an absolute disgrace. In hindsight, i probably shouldnt have paid for it. -I would not recommend anyone dine in this overpriced restaurant , with poor quality food.

ate here for a birthday meal last week and really enjoyed it. Prawns for starter, were a generous portion as were the other starters, Chicken and Asparagus Pasta for main, couldn't fault for a pasta dish. Pizzas are very large portion. dessert was lovely, would recommend the banoffi pie. the 2 course meal plus glass of wine was 20 euro, well worth the money. The service was average, however it was very quick and efficient.
