Had a really great meal here.Lovely atmosphere, staff were really nice and that perfect mix of attentive without hovering. The prices are very reasonable too. The food was really amazing and we couldn't fault anything. The chicken wings are great and the jerk chicken for mains was delicious. Will definitely go back, just sad we are not local!

It was OK, nothing special. The burger was OK, the chicken a bit dry

Food was amazing! Bruchetta with the mushroom and goats cheese was unbelievable. Jamaican chicken was also amazing. But the brownie for desert was the best! massive portion. Gorgeous. No atmosphere though in the place, very cafe-ish. Not somewhere for a romantic meal.

The absolute best chicken wings in town, consistently gorgeous. The guys always remember the locals and stop to chat. Rathmines needs more places of this quality. Highly recommend for good value.

The best chicken wings in Dublin, consistently excellent. Lovely staff, they always remember the locals that return. Rathmines needs more of this standard & quality.

As I had been at Kafka before I was happy to return. However on this occasion I was disappointed. I had calamari to start and the 'crispy' batter was hard. I had asked to have a main course portion of the feta parcels as I don't eat meat this was the best option for me. However I was told I could only have that portion size but with a salad. It was only OK. My friend had a better meal of chicken wings and a Caesar salad. Both of which she really liked. It was also expensive for what we had.

Restaurant was empty when we first went in but quickly filled up. Great location in the centre of Rathmines. The food was good and reasonably priced. The staff were really friendly.

Little gem of a place. Rathmines needs places like this. The risotto was just on the spot not too al dente yet not mushy. Reasonably priced and good service. Will be back

have visited kafka before, I try to have different food when i'm there - I've loved everything from the Moroccan chicken to the fish burger, prawn pasta is also gorgeous, it caters for everyone... the pecan tart for dessert is gorgeous although all desserts are priced at 6e which can be slightly off putting... worth it though!!!

Really enjoyable lunch as usual - great sandwich options for less than 7e and great soups for a fiver. Amazing value for money.

Very enjoyable meal with excellent service and value. As we ate early there were not too many others there and this is prob why the atmosphere was a bit lacking. But overall v good. We dined on the 28/6/14.

Starters are a bit pricey and mains prices are a bit expensive also, especially in these recessional times

Apart from the food, I was left with little to rave about with Kafka. I had passed the restaurant when going through Rathmines and was always tempted to go inside. Unfortunately there was little to be impressed by. I ordered Moroccan chicken which was plain with two large sweet potatoes and very little salsa on the side. The waiter never once asked how the meal was, nor offered deserts or tea/coffee afterwards. Despite our table being in the corner of the restaurant, I was very disappointed with the service. Usually, the waiter/waitress would try and make general conversation. However, not once did anyone approach us throughout the night. The menu itself was very basic and had a large fish selection which would be ideal for fish lovers. Some of the meals I felt were very over priced considering other restaurants within Rathmines itself which have better deals. Overall, I am not sure I will be rushing back to Kafka anytime soon.
