Food was delicious. Shared chicken wings and nachos to start and they went down very well. The chicken quesadillas were very tasty and my friend had the fish special which was so good. Another friend had fish and chips and really liked it. I resisted dessert but my 4 friends loved theirs- especially the chocolate orange moose- bread and butter pudding was apparently the best my friend ever had! Very friendly and polite service. The restaurant was fairly quite but when miore people try it out it will soon be buzzing!

Excellent food and friendly waiter service. One big negative: Even though the restaurant states on the Hi-Life website that the Hi-Life card may be used at lunch-time everyday except Saturday and Sunday and even though we mentioned Hi-Life when booking by phone for Thursday and showed cad when we arrived at restaurant - we were told on the phone and upon arrival that the card was acceptable yet when the manager presented the bill at the end of the meal he refused to accept the Hi-life cad, saying it was only accepted in the evening and made us pay the full amount. Beware!

Nice place, very pleasant and calming place. We sat in the garden which was nice. Good is average and maybe a bit overpriced. We had the deal but probably won't be back without another deal.

Visited the restaurant for Sunday Brunch . Extensive brunch menu was available up to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday.Great choice available for brunch including eggs benedict and Mexican style eggs with relish. Food was well presented and the staff were friendly and service excellent. Will definitely pay another visit to try the evening menu.

Had a tasty meal in peperina last Friday night. This Restaurant is very accessible to get to from the LUAS. It has tasty food and nice service though we found the place very quiet and though good quality we would find it right expensive if we hadn't had a voucher for this particular visit though it was nice.

We booked for four people using a voucher. The restaurant was busy with loud music from the speakers but otherwise a good atmosphere. Two had chicken wings for starters which were meaty and spicy, one guest had crostini with garlic prawns and the last guest had nachos a little underwhelming with poor cheese. We waited a good while for our mains, two had steak priced at a hefty €23 for rib eye they were ok, one guest chose cananolli which was inedible and unfortunately had to be sent back to the kitchen, one guest had rotisserie chicken with garlic mushrooms and a lacklustre celeriac mash. Our guest ordered steak to replace her pasta but by this time we had finished our mains her steak was very chewy and over cooked. As a gesture of goodwill we thought we might have been deducted the difference between the two dishes but with very little apology we were charged the full price. Maybe the kitchen had a bad night but to bring back customers you have to be consistent with your food. It was very average at best with Dublin 6 prices.

We had a lovely meal here in Peperina, with good service, good atmosphere, very timely and satisfying delivery off the food and we were very pleased to say the least, it's great to know about this place which make a great offer to satisfy their customers and the food was very tasty, the location is also really great as it's just off the Beechwood stop off the LUAS.

Went for lunch with 2 companions & choose the place with limited expectations since a dish I had got years back was mediocre at best. It was a case of a restaurant I didn't expect much of surpassing the mark for my meal anyway. The prawn linguini was to die for, it was a case of the simpler the better. No big sauces here however the flavoured oil was delicious and I devoured the lot. The best flavoured dish I've had in a long time. My companion enjoyed her BLT but my other companions found her cod rather tasteless (it often tends to be anyway) but enjoyed the chips. Both dishes were nicely, quirkily & professionally presented. We all chose bread and butter pudding with crème anglais for dessert and it was amazing. Nicest meal I've had out in a long time made even better because my expectations were so low. Besides the dessert menu you can choose from some cake options on display none including fresh cream. They appear to do some of their baking on site & there was a lovely aroma from the kitchen. Service was good, pleasant & relatively prompt, we were greeted nicely on entering the restaurant. The smiling waitress constantly kept our water topped up though it took a while to catch her eye to ask for some pieces of lemon. 2 very over chunky pieces were delivered to the table with 3 people present. They could have been better sliced. The patio area at the back is an amazing space they could do a lot with but I found it tackily decorated. They didn't make the most of what could be a beautiful area providing a nice view from the back of the restaurant. Although the restaurant is nicely decorated I won't be asking for their interior designer for their bathroom. I loved the coloured glass handles on the front door;

I visited on Friday for lunch and was very impressed. A great secret hidden away on Dunville Avenue. Cosy warm room and friendly staff. Large selection of lunch dishes, my seafood chowder was perfect. An amazing selection of cakes to top it off! I will return.

Had dinner there last night with a Living social voucher. Without that it wouldn't really have been worth the price (€25 for €50). Atmosphere was fine but nothing special, perhaps if you sit further back it would be better. It gives off a vibe of not really knowing what type of place it wants to be. My starter of goats cheese with caramelised onion bruschetta was delicious but main of fish and chips was just adequate. Fish was very oily ands chips only ok. Desert was nothing to rave about. Overall, nothing offensive but wouldn't bother going back.

I can only review their food and service, since I have only got delivery from this restaurant. The food is very good but the staff are not prepared to meet the customer's basic needs and I always have the feeling I'm dealing with hipster waiters from a overrated trendy bistro in New York. Twice my delivery box arrived opened and with sauce/soup spilled all over the bag and other items, and/or the paper bag ripped. The highlight [not!] was when the delivery guy dropped an entire bowl of soup on my hallway carpet and walls and made it sound like a big favour that he would bring another delivery, while I waited for it cleaning and wiping their mess in my house with a sick person in bed. Kind of put me off trying it on-site.
