We ordered through Deliveroo and received a 2 inch pizza squashed at one end of the box. It also costs 4.95 for 7 chips! Outrageous! Milano's can be really slow and the food hit and miss but teamed up with Deliveroo? Unbelievable. I don't know how either of them are still in business.

I find all milanos a bit pricey when they dont have any special offers on, but food was good, arrived quickly and was very fresh. I like the way you can watch the chef prepare and cook your food in the open kitchen. staff were very friendly and quick to respond to any requests. Would recommend

It's a franchise restaurant, so do not expect unique atmosphere. With that said, they deliver remarkably well everything they promise: the food is always great, the staff is well-trained and friendly, value is excellent and it's equally pleasant for family meals, business dinners, dates and a catch up with friends. Can't go wrong. Highly recommend. it.

We went as a couple to eat from their mid week deal of two courses for 13.95. It's a great value deal. The food was fantastic, we shared a starter and a dessert. The portions were more than big enough and so tasty! it would be expensive enough to eat without the deal and the drinks are also a little pricey but not the most expensive either! The service was a bit slow but they were absolutely jammed so that can be forgiven/expected. We were a little unlucky with the atmosphere as there was a party with lots of kids when we went, but I'd say the atmosphere would be very relaxing/romantic on a normal night. It's perfect for a nice medium priced meal. :)

A group of 4 of us went for dinner here, it was excellent. I had the Padana goats cheese pizza, and we shared dough balls for a starter, highly recommend these, very tasty. The Pinot Grigio was very nice. Good value meal & the pizza's are always fantastic.

We really liked the atmosphere because we could talk without having to shout (some places are really noisy). The food is basic Italian fare but quite good. Everyone enjoyed the lighter pizzas. The price was good but the service was really slow. I had to go to the bar to order the drinks myself.

I visited Milano Ranelagh Saturday with 2 friends and Milano Blanchardstown on Friday for lunch with 10 work collagues. On both occasions service was incredibly slow. On Friday we were left waiting before our order was taken, and again to settle the bill. As a work group we were on a tight deadline to get back to the office. On Saturday, was with 2 friends. Our pizzas took over 45 mins to arrive and even then only 2 pizzas were served and the 3rd one took another 5 minutes. I love the food in Milano - great options especially for those with dietary requirements, or trying to eat healthily but its shame that I am often left disappointed by the slow service. I have experienced similar slow service in Baggot st and Dundrum previousl. Please sort it out Milano!!

Went to Milano for a friend's birthday. The restaurant was very busy for a Tuesday night which created a good buzz. The service was excellent, very prompt and courteous. The food was exceptional. The antipasto starter to share was very generous. The new calbrese pizza (although it's the hottest to date) is not very hot but does have an agreeable amount of spice. I really liked the dessert option of a mini sorbet with coffee - the raspberry sorbet is the nicest I have had. The food was adequately priced however the drinks were quite expensive.

This was my first time in milano ranelagh ususlly we go to dundrum, the food is like always, really good especially the lighter pizzas with the salad in the centre but all the milano's have to get real with the prices of the wine when ordered per glass, its very expensive and on the night we were there service was slow as i dont think they had enough staff on as it was mid week but it wouldnt however put me off going back as i love the food

I've been to the ranelagh branch of milano's twice now, and been very satisfied both times. We had the sharing platter of italian meats, cheese olives and dough balls which was very nice, as i like a mix of things, and the bruschetta, which is always great. I had the chicken pesto pasta, which was great, but quite heavy as served with more dough sticks. A friend had the "light" pizza which is basically just the middle gone with a bowl of salad, but delicious all the same. I was too full for desert this time, but love their banoffi pie. Im skeptical about their doughballs and nutella! Staff are always very accomodating and friendly. The kids meal is excellent value too!

This was my first visit to the Ranelagh restaurant. We just went for pizzas and were pleasantly surprised. The pizzas are huge but the thin base means that you don't get too full (which I normally do when I ordered pizza in other places). They have a great selection to choose from too. The place was fairly busy but it didn't affect service which was impeccable throughout. If I had one issue, it was that the lighting was very bad which made it really difficult to read the menus. We had a 50% off voucher so including some beers our bill came to about €25, great value! I thought some of the prices were a little high compared to other Italian restaurants but with all the offers they regularly have it more than makes up for it.

We will not go back. Atmosphere is terrible. Decoration too cold and food is very poor. My friend had a pasta with chicken and it’s look really bad. I was lucky to go for the salad with goat cheese. Only the wine was fine.

Went to Milanos on a 2 for 1 offer with my sister and her 10yr old son. Was not really impressed with the service so I was very glad that we were getting a cheaper meal. It took a while to get menus and then our order taken. The 10yr. old ordered from the kids menu so had the dough balls, plain pizza and a sundae. My sister and I just went for mains so ordered a pizza and the goats cheese salad. These were nice enough but it took ages for the staff to clean our plates away. They weren't that busy and there were lots of them but they were happy to walk by our table without clearing it. Very annoying! Anyways, the food was nice but not sure I'll be rushing back anytime soon.

Our second visit to Milanos didn't disappoint. Service was busy but pleasant and effective. The pizzas were delicious and the offer of a free coffee or hot drink of choice with a dessert was very attractive. We both tried hot chocolate with our fudge cakes and loved it.They have a scratchcard type promotion for Christmas where you have the possibility of winning a free pizza, starter, dessert etc. Good value at the moment when all is taken into account - and if you have Tesco vouchers the value is even better.
