I've been here a few times and always enjoyed the food. The last time I think we ordered badly because everything seemed gooey so choose wisely. In fairness they do great seafood, chorizo dishes, stews etc that are really tasty, and the service and ambiance are lovely. Great spot for a romantic dinner.

Beautiful meal here tonight, each dish we got was delicious. Top dishes were the scallop and black pudding, chorizo and prawn, oh and the beef with onion and mushroom was so rich and warming. Clean plates! The dessert topped off a great meal, the warm chocolate fondant was a pleasant surprise. Will return!

Lovely tapas and wine in the Bodega in Ranelagh.Portions are small and therefore the cost of the tapas adds up but all in all a great experience. Will be back.

It was one of our friends 50th bday party we ordered 3 dishes each and the food was excellent. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was good but it was very hard to have a conversatio as the place was a bit cramped. The wine was a bit expensive for what it was. I would go back again. JeanSeb Dublin.

Fab place - went with a group from work for lunch. Service and food was brill. We were seated in the covered area out the back - fabulous spot. It was a very warm day & they had heaters on though which was a bit unnecessary and made it overly warm. Two tapas plenty for lunch - I will definitely return for dinner soon as I felt cheated not to have been able to sample their extensive wine list!

Have been to this restaurant at least a dozen times and I've never been disappointed, food has always been excellent. Even if its busy they take your mobile number and call when a table is free which has always been within the time they've stated. Service is great, staff are friendly and polite. Have highly recommended it to friends who have loved it too.

Had heard a lot about this tapas restaurant. It was full on a Saturday night and we were lucky to have pre-booked. There is such an array to choose from its hard to decide what to get. Four of us shared, pan fried prawns with chili and garlic, batter prawns in garlic mayonnaise, hand made creamy cheese and bacon croquettes, hot and spicy chicken wings, meat balls in a fiery tomato and manchego sauce, crispy potato cubes, rice with chicken and chorizo, and a Spanish omelette. The food is really good here having visited many tapas bars in Spain as well as Dublin, the meat balls were a let-down reheated and no flavour, we shared a house white and red and managed to have a cheese board and churros. A great night, good food well worth a second visit.
