Food was ok - had wings & burger. Tummy wasn't well after it & neither was my partners.... Wouldn't be rushing back.

Savage, never disappoints, I had the Bloody Mary (which I reckon is the best in Dublin) and the Carne de Rancheros meaty brunch, delish. For me, easily the best brunch in Ranelagh

Enjoyed the Wednesday meal deal with my partner. We always find the service really good in here. The steaks and wine were good. The wine was a bit pricey but welcome to Dublin !

Went for sunday brunch, absolutely brilliant. I had shakshouka, my girlfriend had the norwegian eggs and both were fantastic. Also has to be hands down the best bloody mary in Dublin, served with a quail egg, hot bacon, olive and chilli, unreal.

Had a couple of sneaky mid-week margueritas and nachos with a friend sitting up at the bar. Service was impeccable, nachos of a great portion, and cocktails way too easy to drink. My only ongoing bugbear with the place is their insistence on having ketchup and mustard everywhere when most of their menu doesn't call for either. But I'll be back regardless.

Nice place for a lovely brunch!!! We were 5 friends who all really enjoyed the food with an aperitif. All followed by an Irish coffee.

We had never been to Dillingers and didn't expect to be able to book a table on Saturday night (such is the popularity of Ranelagh) but we were seated in the window which was nice. The atmosphere is American Diner but it's looking a bit tired. The striploin was wonderful but the green beans were cold and quite frankly horrible. I had expected the Chilli Fries to be just fries with some flakes but it was in fact a bowl of soggy chips with chilli con carne topped with cheese. This was a meal in itself! The staff are very friendly but I would say that this place has lost it's way. The prices are way to expensive for this kind of experience and Eddie Rocket's is a better choice.

Totally overpriced and very little choice on the menu. Were seated on high stools in a very cramped corner, and the bill was outrageous for what we got. In fairness to the staff they gave a good service.

I went to Dillinger's for the brunch menu at the weekend and found that the staff were more knowledgeable than most places about my allergy concerns (coeliac) and very helpful. I enjoyed my meal there but was perhaps a little overpriced for the size of the meal portions. I will be back to try the cocktails, they look very well made!

Five of us were sitting at the window table. Both requests to have the speaker over my head turned down were ignored. There was so much noise that it was nearly impossible to converse with my guests. If the management cared about the paying customers it would be reasonable to expect that they would have made some effort to resolve the situation. Because of the noise I will not be returning.

There were six of us across three generations looking forward to a nice evening out. When the main course arrived there was no sign of my mother's dish (buttermilk chicken). The staff did apologise profusely but eventually admitted that the chef had missed her order and it was only now being cooked. It was at least 20 minutes before her dish arrived, which was so uncomfortable for the rest of us, as we slowed down our eating so we would not be finished before Mum even got her meal. We were given two coffees "on the house" , but the chicken dish was charged for. They made a mistake with the order and we all accept human error, but to charge the same as if it had arrived on time with everyone else's food was really bad form and bad business sense too. When asked about it we were told that the policy was that unless the food was sent back to the kitchen it had to be charged for??!! What a pity.

Went there twice with colleagues from work for brunch, given the good reviews we had heard. Major disappointment and it actually became a joke at our office - whenever we have to take an unpleasant client to dinner, we say we will bring him to Dillingers :D The place is dark and gloomy, tries to be posh but doesn't quite achieve it, and insists on making people wait and sitting at the bar for a full meal even though they are completely empty before, during and after our visit in a rainy quiet morning. The food was good but definitely overpriced and the staff was incredibly slow and stand-offish. Would not recommend it.

Had brunch here with my wife on a Sunday morning. When we walked in there were empty tables and counter positions but they all seemed to have not been cleared from the previous customers so we had to remain standing as a place was cleared at the counter. This seemed to be the pattern during our stay - tables were left uncleared until customers came in and were then left standing while a table was prepped. We had a Dillinger's breakfast and Spicy Kenmare crab cakes with poached eggs, aioli & green salad. The breakfast was OK with the exception of the sausages which were undercooked and were completely unbrowned. It is an Irishman's expectation that a sausage is golden brown on the outside. The fish cakes and poached eggs were enjoyed. As this is a brunch it would have been nice for a cup of coffee or tea to be included to wash it down, but it wasn't and tea/coffee is extra. With two glasses of home-made lemonade that was a bit sweet for my taste the total came to €34.00. Ranelagh is full of good eating places and I will probably be trying some other options rather than returning to Dillingers.

A firm favourite, especially for weekend brunches/lunches. The food is tasty, the service friendly and if you feel like starting the party early the cocktails are as fresh as they come. We'll be back... again and again!
