The food was decent but the service really let the place down. The waitress couldn't find our booking on arrival, however it was quiet so that was not a problem, and she (rather abruptly) pointed to a table in the middle of the room and told us to sit. I then asked if we could move to a nicer table and she shrugged - I took that as a yes and we moved. We were waiting nearly 40 min for our main dish (our only dish), and we were just about to leave when it was brought to our table. The food was good, and the early bird certainly is value for money but we didn't have time to avail of this offer. I got the burger and it was €17, plus an extra €1.50 for basic toppings such as cheese etc. which was a bit much. It's a lovely looking restaurant but I couldn't recommend it due to the service.

Exquisite! Four of us went and each dish was scrumptious. I had succulent jumbo prawns with chorizo to start and perfectly seared tuna on a bed of avocado salsa and a thin crisp batter - perfectly executed dishes. These chefs are underrated, what they are doing with food is very innovative and exciting. I'don't put it on a par with the Rustic Stone, perhaps better! nThankfully service was superb too, completely unlike the last review. The were attentive, efficient and knowledgeable.

Where to start. My husband and myself went for brunch with a few friends. They got there before us and it took an age to order drinks. The waitress got this order for 3 people wrong!! We arrived and ordered eventually. Food was fine no complaints. We asked for a desert menu. 10 minutes later still nothing. We asked again and after at least another 10 minutes we got it. We ordered deserts and coffee. The deserts came out but the coffee didn't arrive. I thought they had gone to roast the beans it took so long. Desert was finished by the time our coffees arrived. They really need some training in customer service. It totally lets this place down.

Service horrendous Have been few times and no problems and was disgusted as brought 2 girlfriends celebrating birthday on my recommendation Staff certainly didn't want our money as wanted more wine, etc Waited 45 mins after our main course(no one came near us even to check if we wanted dessert, coffee or wine) Eventually I had to wave numerous times to get attention no luck as waiters/waitresses walk with heads up not looking at customers. Others had similar problem. Worst night with my 2 pals who went down the country after meal at 1115pm. Restaurant wasn't even busy Such bad training Asked for Bill and receipt thrown on table (no platter or booklet) Will not return and unfort won't recommend and since my visit have heard same story from other customers

Very dsappointing. With elderly parents, waited far longer than people who came in after us, no apology or acknowledgement - it was left to us to ask what was happening with our food - response was a polite but casual "in a minute, we are busy". When it finally arrived, 2 of the dishes were not as described - ingredients different/missing. No one seemed particularly bothered, in fact, when I pointed out to another member of staff how long we had waited, and that a simple explanation or apology would have sufficed, I was fobbed off with mumblings about being busy. Will not be back. Shame, as the potential was there for a nice lunch.

It was my second time eating in Cinnamon ,the first visit I enjoyed, but this one was disappointing. The lady who showed us our table seemed to be in a bad mood and barely acknowledged us,not a good start to an evening out. While starters were ok,and main courses adequate,we were not asked at any stage how our food was.Thankfully a young waiter served our wine and he was very pleasant.I will not be dining there again.

The acoustics are Appalling. We loved the food but when we tried to talk to the waiter, we had to repeat a few times. One of our group in an interior designer and said that it would be quite simple to correct this. There were 4 of us and constantly leaning over to table to hear each other. So, should you wish to have a decent conversation, I suggest somewhere else. Though as I said earlier the food (brunch) was delicious.

My daughter decided to drop in today to have a light meal, I had the Duck with Walnuts, Yummy. My daughter had a Goats Cheese open Sandwich which was also Yummy, the deserts were so nice we bought 4 to bring home. Best of all was the staff they were not only attentive but smiled and joked with us all the time making sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely be going back and would highly recommend popping in, even if it's just for coffee and cake, Great background music too.

Went to cinnamon on an evening deal. Informed the restaurant at booking but was given the Al a carte menu on arrival without question, even though we were early enough for the early bird menu. Service was pleasant but not prompt and the diner beside us was given a incorrect order twice. The restaurant was very noisy, not somewhere to go for a quiet romantic meal!! When I went to pay, I was charged for the full Al a carte menu and when I explained that I had a deal voucher the waitress became very annoyed with me for not informing her on arrival. I explained that I had informed on booking and she grudgingly admitted her mistake and took my voucher but I was left with a bad impression of my experience. Possibly teething problems but I certainly won't return.
