My husband and I decided to drop into the Tandoori Bite for the early bird. The notice on the front window said 1 starter 1 main rice or nan bread and glass of wine or beer for €12.95 so we decided to try this as it was such good value. This notice was underneath the main menu in the front window so we assumed it was any main or starter as there was no other menu there to indicate otherwise. We went in and was handed the regular menu and nothing else ordered from that and had our food. The food was ok nothing special, we then asked for bill and to our horror was handed a bill for over €50 . We queried this with the lady who was dealing with us who told us that we didnt order from the early bird menu to which i told her that her sign outside didnt specify that there was any seperate early bird menu . the sign just said 1 main 1 starter we assumed it was from the main menu but she insisted that it did. i reluctantly paid up and then went outside and checked the notice about the early bird . I was right it didnt specify anything other that i starter i main. I went back in and asked her to come out and check and at this stage she brought out a second menu which we werent shown and i asked her why we werent as the early bird was until 9.30pm and we went in about 8 and her excuse was we didnt ask for it and customers normally ask for it. We dine out reqularly and would always be provided we main menu, early bird menu or any specials that would be available at the time so i would assume that there would be no need to be asking for whatever menus that is on offer. Her attitude was a case of tough luck and we feel completely conned. We felt this was a strange way to treat customers as the place was uncomfortably quiet as the only customers were us and 3 other people who arrived just as we were leaving. I certainly wont be returning and would suggest this place be avoided at all costs

Went here for the first time, and was slightly surprised. The food was better than described, I was really impressed with the Chicken korma, but the lamb madras was ok. Sizes were small, but with the 12€ deal, including a glass of wine, it was pretty filling. Service could have been more attentive, especially since were were the only ones there... They don't really encourage you to stick around after you're finished your meal. I'll visit again, but only when I'm craving something cheap and cheerful.

I have been here a couple of times before (usually very late at night after a few scoops) so was interested to go in the evening and try the food sober!! There was a group of us for a mates birthday taking advantage of the great value early bird (10.95 for starter and main course plus glass of wine/beer or 29.95 for 2 starters, 2 mains and a bottle of wine). I had the onion bahjee to start, which were delicious, crispy on the outside, softer on the inside, very well spiced. I decided on the lamb vindaloo for mains - little bit of a mistake, I do like spicy food but this was MAJOR spicy. Still very tasty but 80% of the lamb pieces were overcooked which took away from the overall dish. I wasn't particularly happy with the service however, considering we were only one of two parties (10 of us and one other couple), it seemed like they were trying to rush us out. We might have stayed for another drink if it had been offered. Think I'll stick to it when I'm a bit drunk and not so mindful of those details and definitely not order the vindaloo again!!

We ordered for the first time (and the last time I'm afraid). Our order was meant to be delivered within 45 minutes and it arrived after 1 hour and 20 minutes. We ordered Lamb Saag and Lamb Jalfrezi both with Pilau Rice. Both dishes lacked of flavour big time. Lamb Saag was bland and mostly fatty (I'm talking about big lumps of fat!), while Lamb Jalfrezi was very oily (you could actually see the sauce floating in the oil). Rice was only ok (again, missing the spices). The only edible part were poppadums! The accompaniament of the mint sauce (white watery mixture with parsley flavour) was very poor. I can't speak for atmosphere or service as this was a takeaway experience. We won't be ordering again.

Tandoori Bite has to be the best value Indian Restaurant in Dublin... I know I've reviewed it before but we went again last week and it is seriously hard to beat on price. Delicious meal - Onion Bhaji, Lamb Kebab, Lamb Masala, and Chicken Korma, with Pilau Rice and Garlic Naan, and 2 beers, for 22euro. Wish I was there right now :-)

There was nobody having dinner on a Friday night and unsurprisingly our overall impression is that it is not worth the effort to go. Food is relatively ok although the portions are fairly small on top of that the service is very disappointing. I would only recommend the take away option, no way in showing up there.

Lovely food for the time of night that I usually visit. However they could chill the beer a little more.

Fairly reasonable quality considering it was 3.30am when I ate here. Not the best peshwari naan I've ever had but far from the worst. Nice enough mains but to be fair I didn't have my critics hat on when I was here, frankly, it was my boozing hat, the food hit the spot though. Not a first date venue, more a post-club feed.

The food here is really good and the staff are very helpful and friendly. It’s never really that busy so it would be a great place to go if you had a crowd. The dips for the pompadoms are yum. They do a really good early bird menu as well.

I love this Indian place. They have the best chicken tikka masala and garlic naan bread in Dublin. I order take away from them regularly and I have eaten there too. It's mostly a late night restaurant and is packed at 1am but the food is so yummy any time of the evening. I have tried other Indian takeaways but they don't compare to Tandoori Bite.

This restaurant is a little treasure, I order off them regularly and they never fail to please. They have a great special offer that if you spend 30 euro you get a free main course of your choice on take aways, so is very good if there is a group of you ordering a take away. Portions are large and are very good value. Would recommend to anyone.
