Tuesday tasting menu is a wow, vegetarian option available, just ask! Lovely, caring, staff and buzzy, fun atmosphere - make for a perfect evening out. Great value, looking forward to my next visit.

Went for a meal with friends just to catch up. Staff were very friendly and efficient. The interior is kind of cosy but quite basic and has a 'neighbourhood' feel so it's not plush or romantic. We had a mixture of food, I had a nice soup, steak and date dessert. Everything was good but nothing wowed me. The wine was similar. We enjoyed the meal but with so many choices in Dublin now I can't identify how Richmond stands out except maybe for the staff.

We visited the Richmond for a quick bite to eat before a show and we weren't disappointed. Whilst there were plenty of tempting options on the menu myself and my dinner companion decided to opt for the house special - a dish comprising of ox tail pie, pork cheek and seared grouse accompanied by roasted mushroom and a red wine jus.Whilst it sounds like a lot of food to digest, the portion size was perfect. It was hard to pick my favourite meat but I think the pork cheek had it - incredibly tender and juicy. We both had wine to accompany the meal - our waiter was very helpful in recommending a perfect match. All in all a satisfying dining experience. We have vowed to come back to try out the tasting menu!

The starter and dessert were absolutely amazing! I had the risotto to start and thought it was very flavoursome and the right type of bite in the food. The main course was nice but it wouldn't bring me back for more however I would very gladly go out of my way to go back for the lemon tart- absolutely astonishing, more like a creme brulee with a lemon flavour than lemon curd! The date dessert ordered by my friend looked delicious and I would be very keen to try that too! The set menu is definitely good price!

This place is awesome, we've been a few times for both breakfast and dinner and have never been disappointed. The food is out of this world and staff very friendly. Try the date pudding, so good with the salted peanut garnish.
