My Fiancée and I travelled from South Africa to holiday in Ireland. Our meal at Cinnamon Monkstown was the best we had. Great atmosphere, lovely fare and attentive service. We didn't want to leave (enjoyed 4 wonderful hours there). Niall and Debs, SA

A friend & I visited here on a Friday evening. 3 starters 1 main & 3 drinks each - 160Euro lighter leaving! I will not be returning. The staff were alright....not great & also a bit slow. The place wasn't even that busy - so no excuse! I felt robbed leaving the place to be honest!

Visited here for dinner last night with trepidation as I had never tried an evening meal. We went with the Early Bird menu and the dishes were fab, restaurant itself was quiet but on the wettest night of the year so no surprise there. The service was a little slow but the staff were very pleasant and eager to help. Overall great value and will return.

I have been here a few times but when on mothers day and was not impressed the lighting was faulty and we were placed at a table under the brightest light you could image there were quite rude about it when I asked if they had another table but move the light to another table and lucky for them the other customer didn't seem to mind. ok but will not be returning

A friend and I had brunch here after hearing much positive reviews about it. The setting is gorgeous, the centre of Monkstown village can rarely be topped. We were greeted by fantastic staff who were happy to assist with our walk-in even though the venue was buzzing with people. We took our time to order which staff did not mind at all, I settled on potato farl with black pudding a side of oven roasted plum tomatoes my man-date had eggs benedict again with oven roasted plum tomatoes. My food was not up to standard at all, infact it was tasteless. The black pudding was as if it was store bought and a miniscule amount at that, the potato farl was bland, absolutely nothing to rave about. The eggs benedict was satisfactory, we have had much better in less reputable places. It was a shame as we did have our mindsets on it being an 'Ace' place. The value is as expected for the venues location, not cheap but not expensive. The saving grace was the service, to reiterate, the staff are fabulous.

I’ve been to Cinnamon in Ranelagh a few times. It’s always good but not great. The theme continues in Monkstown! It is very child friendly. The brunch is good, I ordered eggs royale and it was very tasty but the salmon was very salty. The coffee is good. All in all we will be back because it’s convenient and the standard is good but it won’t knock your socks off!

So happy there's another opportunity to enjoy Cinnamon. Love the one in Ranelagh and was delighted when i saw this one in Monkstown. How clever to replicate the atmosphere and ambience of the 'original' place so that people like me who know both feel right at home. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food is good, home made fare. Wish you much success at your new location. See you soon for breakfast.

I brought my young son here on sat morning for breakfast while the hubby had a late sleep. I wasnt impressed with the choice. My son has an egg allergy and it was really limited for him. I got bacon and toast for him which he liked and eggs benidict for me. The hollendaise sauce tasted strongly of vinegar and it was quite thin. The staff were very nice but I dont think I'll have breakfast here again, but I will try the lunch or dinner menu though.
