As a professional who works close to ITSA IMMA (St. James's Hospital), myself and my colleague went here today for our lunch as we have done numerous times in the past. After paying for our coffees and bagels we took a seat having been given a number. 25 mins later, having noticed we were not being brought any food (and when others who came after us were served) a girl asked us did we order bagels.... The restaurant wasnt even busy and there was a scramble to look through receipts to see what we had ordered. I told the girls that we didnt have time to wait as our lunch break was finished in 10mins. We asked for a refund and the 'so called manager' came and issued us a refund for the bagel, still charging us for the coffees. I asked for the managers name and he said abruptly, I am the manager. The girls working there apologised while he left very quickly, displaying a very bad attitude and slammed the door. He was clearly in a rush to clock out for the day and was the one who had taken our order in the first place and not 'forgotten to pass the orders to the kitchen'. Many other colleages from the hospital have detailed poor service in the past but it was the combination of poor service and attitude to it from a manager, that stumped us. I would avoid this establishment if you are looking for quality service and manners. An extremely unimpressed (and hungry) customer!

Came Here for lunch with a friend and had asparagus, tomato and cheese quiche which was very tasty but the base was quite soggy. My friend enjoyed her bagel and the prices were reasonable.

Popped into Itsa for a quick bagel while up in the IMMA to see the Frida Kahlo Exhibition, it was Wednesday at about 1.30 but Itsa was very busy! I ordered my bagel to takeaway and the charming staff told me that it would take about 10mins, I think that they were surprised at how busy they were too!! Anyway, about 15mins later my bagel arrived, as it was a lovely day I had my bagel outside in the sunshine and very nice it was too!!

We went here for Sunday lunch and were very impressed with the range of food on offer. Its possible to eat a main meal for €9.95 which I think is excellent value. I had soup which was vegetarian and gluten free but was delicious. Himself had a bagel which he said was gorgeous and we both had cakes after, all for €17 which I thought was good value. We were charged incorrectly for a hot drink and when I brought it to the staffs attention we were given a complimentary coffee. This is a lovely cafe, ideal for a weekday lunch or even Sunday brunch/lunch.

We went here with our son and ordered two of their Chicken Caesar bagels and two cappachinos which came to €21! The food is gorgeous but it is very overpriced. We could have had a carvery dinner somewhere for the same price. The day we were there it was very crowded but it is a nice place. However, their prices really do need to reflect the current financial climate. At the end of the day, it is only 2 bagels and 2 coffees.

I came here for lunch with a friend after visiting the musuem. Compared to other Itsa branches, I found it quite overpriced. I assume this is due to the fact that its located within the IMMA grounds and is the nearest cafe. However I think 7.50 is too dear for a bagel which could have been better. I must add that my friend enjoyed her soup and sandwich. However, when she asked for the bread to be toasted, she was informed that they don't have toasting facilities! On the positive, the interior is stunning and there is a cosy and relaxed atmosphere. The staff were also pleasant and polite.

I went here for lunch with workmates. It was a nice place to eat, with a good selection of food. The prices were a bit steep for lunch, around 7 euro for a sandwich and then another 3 for a coffee. But the food was very tasty and fresh generally, except for the side salad. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the service was quick. I would recommend it.

I work in this area and this is one of the favourite office lunch places. The bagels are fab. Their hot food it good too. You can usually get a seat immediately and it is counter service so no waiting.

This place is a great spot after a wander around the museum and the lovely grounds. The museum was really really busy when we visited and there was a good buzz in the coffee shop. I was a big fan of the original 'itsa bagel' in the epicurian food hall in town, and the soup was similar to the one they served there. Delicious and perfect on a cold spring day. Also great coffee and cake!

With the recent spate of good weather (past tense I know but hopefully our ‘summer’ continues through to the….well, summer) what better place to spend a sunny Sunday afternoon than in the magical surrounds of the IMMA. Wander through the extensive and immaculately groomed gardens, get in touch with your cultural side and finish with a trip to itsa@IMMA. My girlfriend and I opted for a spot of afternoon tea or in layman terms, coffee and cake. The selection was first class, ranging from old fashioned chocolate favourites & apple crumble through to muffins, scones & brownies. I had an espresso and a generous wedge of blackberry Madeira cake which was light and bursting with blackberries. And for just over fiver meant neither your appetite nor wallet were spoiled! Highly recommended for good quality afternoon treats just like your granny used to make!

This is an open, airy space in the basement of the Museum of Modern Art. I have been here a number of times recently. On each occasion I have ordered the homemade vegetable and lentil soup. It is absolutely delicious- chunky, flavoursome and filling and comes with some lovely homemade brown bread.Service is very pleasant and friendly. I'll certainly continue to visit!
