Food here is great, slightly pricey, but I will pay that happily for the taste. Atmosphere is good, the areas around the tables (benches and shelves with displays, and displays) need cleaning. Will still go back though :-)

It's been. Many years since we had a meal here. A lot of pubs spent. Millions being done. Up in the last decade and a lot closed down. Well Johnnie foxes has stayed the same ( for the better). The fish pie was superb, they now sell more than fish. The prices reasonable. Good service. Still the sawdust and the dirty car park out back.

Went for dinner Paddy's (Eve) with the better half. When we arrived there was a 3 piece band who were very good. They finished shortly after this when we were seated, so we had dinner during the interval of the music. The meal itself was gorgeous and go hungry they are huge portions!! I had a butter nut squash soup with home-made brown bread for starters (the bread was amazing), my partner had the pork belly which he said was nice but not wow! For mains I had the Vegetable Lasagne and he had the lamb stew, both were demolished... we were so full we could not fit any dessert so we stuck with our few drinks. A one man band came on after dinner Dave Dunne. He was great really entertaining and interactive with the crowd. The staff were great at the end of the night organising a taxi for us, overall a fabulous night with great company, food and entertainment... we'll be back!!!

We visited the restaurant with our club about 30 of us the food was lovely great band playing. We asked for the bill most of us were couples .When the bill arrived it was all mixed up .the couple beside me had half of there food on my bill some more on another bill and the rest on another bill. We went to the counter to try and sort it out and asked the waiter Ben could he help us sort it .He was quite rude and told us to sort it out ourselves as he had no calculator and all he wanted was the exact amount of money. Some people paid by credit card and he put that into the till the cash he was stuffing into a plastic bag .One of the members put the money into the black leather slip and left it on the counter I.I asked Ben to take it from the counter 5 times then he just put it aside finally after sorting all the bills ourselves we left .As we were leaving the car park Ben the waiter came running out shouting that we left him 80 euro short we explained that everyone had paid and that we thought he must have forgotten to put the cash that one member had left on the counter as that matched the missing amount of money .We gave him a phone number and asked him to let us know if he got it sorted but he never called us back so its obvious he sorted it out .But he hadn't the manners to let our club know despite making a show of us in the car park in front of everyone accusing us of leaving without paying .

Saturday afternoon, so it was very busy and had a great atmosphere. The food was excellent, all three courses. My friend and I went for different dishes at every course so we got to taste as much as possible. There was no complaints over any dish! Highly recommended restaurant :-)

The most delicious that I ate in the world, it was dinner at Johnnie Fox's Pub! Stunning duck breast and salad with prawns - mmmm ... the atmosphere is also nice.

Attended Johnnie Foxes on Thursday for a birthday party. Love this place. Can't fault the food, service or atmosphere. Lovely location but unfortunately "off the beaten track", not so easy to catch a cab outside. Will definitely return though.

excellent freshly cooked food not what you would expect of pub food. Seating a bit basic had to sit on stool to overall an enjoyable experience

Obviously geared towards the tourists but worth a look. Ordered a tea and the Banoffee Pie and received a large pot that would serve 5/6 for the price of a cup & good slice of cake. The base of the cake was not to my liking as it was more oats than biscuit but otherwise it hit the spot.
