Very disappointed with the food. I had salad to start which was nothing more than salad leaves. Main courses were also very poor, Could cook way better myself at home. On a positive note the staff were pleasant and the decor is nice.

I have enjoyed many good meals at this restaurant but was very disappointed at my recent visit. Whilst my starter tasted very nice, the presentation was below standard, -tempura of prawns, served on a cream plate with no garnish and did not look appitising .Main meal was monkfish with garlic prawns. Meal arrived with no prawns and I had to point this out to waiter. Not good and small portion for €28 - bad value . I will not be in a rush to return.

Food good but very over priced for what it was. A local restaurant where the owner knew a lot of the customers, but ignored us.

We had a very good meal- all dishes were tasty & well presented . Good choice except vegetarian options were a little limited for our vegetarian friend. Duck & chicken dishes were particularly good. Lovely desserts also.

Had a gorgeous meal. My fillet steak was perfectly cooked & melt in the mouth. My partners rib eye was huge...barely able to finish it. My only complaint about the place would be the chairs....I think they let it down as not very comfy. Would have had another bottle of wine if felt a little bit more comfortable. The staff are all lovely, friendly & efficient.

We had a voucher which admittedly made things sweeter but we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I had two started instead of a main course and the food was fresh, tasty and beautifully cooked and served. Service was impeccable. We will be back for sure!

Visited Bistro One for set dinner with a Voucher which was great value. The food was really delicious, really nice wine menu and ambience was buzzy. Staff were really lovely and helpful. Would definitely return - Set menu was good value regardless of voucher.

Brought a friend for a birthday lunch for 1pm there was nobody else in the place for a good while and only 4 tables were taken so it lacked a bit of atmosphere. Service was great a lovely girl served us and put us under no pressure to leave as we were the last. Food was lovely very plain but nicely served. We had the house wine which was very nice too. It's a really nice place.

My friend and I visited the restaurant using the deal offer worth €60 to spend. I ordered a beautiful starter of deep fried monkfish with dill mayo on the side followed by a rather depressing oily veal melanese dish. It had no taste. I should have ordered crispy duck but thought I test them and see how they do the veal as I cook one myself. Disappointing in a lovely setting restaurant. My friend enjoyed her salad dish followed by a monkfish dish wrapped with Pancetta. I felt the price for the main dish too expensive but that doesnt stop me to come back one more time

Went for a birthday celebration. Group of ten. The food was quite good but it is not good value for money. The Hake, which was on special was 34€. They also seem to believe less is more but when you pay so much, more should be more.

Decent place, however not as fabulous as usually advertised. Very bland atmosphere. Nice foie gras, though it could be served with more fig jam; huge and very well cooked black sole, but very little sauce and a fish knife missing (they don't have one!); risotto too wet and "soupy" but quite tasty; veal Milanese was not as crispy as it is supposed to be, rather moist actually, and it was strangely accompanied by a side of cold and tasteless tomato pasta. Chips don’t deserve a comment.
