A great little restaurant. Food is tasty and of good quality. I do keep in mind that this is a good value spot so I measure my expectations accordingly. It can be a little cold, although the gas heater does help. Its the kind of place you go to for that spur of the moment evening bit of food..... long may it stay!

Lovely grub, great servive but the place was dead, through no fault of their own I guess. A hidden gem a little off the beaten track in dundrum. We were the only ones there but were made fell very welcome and the food was well above the average compared with local indians. Will be back for sure.

V good foot but it was cold - they turned on the fire beside us and we moved seats - but think its more of a take away than a proper restaurant

My wife & I booked a meal here at the weekend, food, service was excellent and very good value. The restaurant is small but there was a good atmosphere. We will definitely go back in the future.

Noticing recently that a new restaurant had opened in place of a previous Indian, I collected a take away from here. While I sat in the waiting area I noticed a couple arriving and getting seated in the eat in area which seems very nice and relaxed. I ordered a large take away order which included lamb balti which isn't on the menu but they were happy to provide. Also a meat and a vegetable platter starter. As I waited I was offered a complimentary beer. Then when the food was being given to me they gave me a complimentary meat samosa which in my opinion was great customer service. The one downside about this place is the price. It is one of the more expensive take away (I don't know the eat in prices) in the area, but it is by far the best quality food. So therefore the value isn't bad for what it is. Worth a try.

It was a stormy wet night but my husband and I were doing round 2 of our joint birthday celebrations. Having dined with our daughters the night before, it was time for a romantic meal. A new Indian Restaurant has come to Dundrum and is very conveniently located right across the road from our house so we braved the elements and made our way over. We had purchases a menupages for 32 euro for 2 starters, 2 mains, 2 sides and 2 glasses of wine. Roshni has recently taken over from a previous restaurant and their food is far superior, we have had takeout on a few occasions. The very friendly waiter welcomed us and ushered us over to seats by the fire. We were given popadoms and dips, which were deliciously fresh and crispy. We ordered veg platters for 2 for our starters, which was abdundant and mouthwateringly delicious, 3 starters with salad of samosa, bhaji and a potatoe dish. Our mains arrived chana bhuna and aloo gobi served up with mushroom rice. All the flavours were amazing. The mushroom rice was so aromatic and really enhanced the flavours of the meals. The house wine was lovely and service was impecable. This is a fine Indian Restaurant that is a welcome addition to the area. it really needs to be experienced. They do a fine take out trade but its fantastic to avail of their lovely cosy restaurant and the excellent service. Extremely highly recommended.

We ate at Roshni before going to the movies and it was thoroughly enjoyable and would gladly go back in the near future. We live on the North Side so it is a little bit far however when we got there we were not disappointed. The food was really good and the service well they could not do enough for us. Rana was our host and he made sure we were well taken care of and Al the chef even came out to make sure we were happy. The deal that they are offering at the moment is second to none so I wiil gladly back over Christmas. You won't be disappointed. The Scout.
