ED on a Wednesday afternoon was quiet, it's the in place for kids at weekends but not on W. the service was poor, staff had no interest in customers. The burger was dry ( over cooked) , the chips not great. The metal milk shake holder looked scruffy. Cool place pity about the food.

Went to Eddie's with two of the lads and got sat beside some 12 year olds party so I had to watch my mouth but I didn't mind that so much as I have just got a job so it gave me a chance to work on my social welfare mouth and mannerisms. The wait for food was 35+ mins, again this didn't bother me. It bothered the other two people I was dining with as one was socially anxious and the other had a natural propensity for displeasure. The food arrived and was okay, burger is always overdone and the waiter forgot my garlic sauce. My dining parters seemed to enjoy their food, in saying that if a pigs trough arrived that was overflowing with prion proteins infected BSG meal chow I'd say they would have enjoyed that too. The service was okay it was very busy and all waiters seemed in good form. The house of the rising sun came on and I sang it and the waiter interjected my soulful rhythm with a joke about Hurricane Katrina which I enjoyed. Value: Yeah kinda.

For a busy Saturday we were seated almost straight away and the service was brilliant - really friendly waitress and the food came quickly. Everything was delicious as always and I got a starter and a full meal for only €11.25 - great value!

Eddie Rockets is an American 1950s style diner with many branches all over Ireland. The one in Dundrum also has a very popular ‘Shake Shop’ right beside it. I recently went to Eddie Rockets in Dundrum with some of my friends. We had just been out for a day of shopping and we all very tired and hungry. Even though it was very busy, we were quickly seated in a large booth and given the menus. Within about ten minutes, our waiter had come back and taken our order. Our meal was served about 15-20 minutes later, and it was very tasty. I had ordered the ‘itzy nachos’ and the ‘chicken sliders basket’. There was a perfect amount of cheese sauce on the nachos and they were nice and crispy, not soggy as other restaurants’ nachos tend to be. My sliders were still warm when I finished my starter, which was good as they had been brought out at the same time. The fries were very tasty. The chilli salt they sprinkle on top makes them even more enjoyable! I loved how they were nice and crispy, as I hate soggy chips! I also loved the chicken sliders, as the chicken was very tender. The miniature burger buns were toasted to perfection! I also shared a ‘perfect brownie’ with my friend. The delicious gooey brownie was topped with a thick layer of silky smooth melted chocolate and served with two large scoops of vanilla ice cream. We enjoyed every bite! My one complaint is that I asked for cheese sauce on the side of my sliders, but they did not bring it to my table. I was very happy with my meal. When we went to pay, our meal was not expensive and we were not kept waiting in a big queue at the till. We were all very satisfied. The food was good, it was reasonably cheap, the service was quick and the food was served with a smile. I love the atmosphere in Eddie Rockets and the slightly corny but fun 50s music. I also love the bright colour scheme and how the whole diner has the same style. I love how the menu matches the colour scheme of the diner and how there is a very wide range of meals to choose from. It was also a very enjoyable experience because it was freezing outside and Eddie Rockets was nice and warm. Altogether, me and my friends had a lovely time and a very tasty meal. I would definitely recommend it and I hope to be going back soon!

My daughter loves ER, me not so much. However, we ate there yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised with the buffalo chicken wrap. It was busy and noisy but that's to be expected at any fast food joint.. particularly in the run up to Christmas. We had to wait for a table but once we were seated service was prompt and the food was good.

I was 30c short at the till of The Shake Shop yesterday with when buying three shakes for my children. I was half way through telling my youngest that I didn't have enough for the topping on her shake when our server most generously took the 30c from their own tip jar and told us not to worry. Very impressed and much appreciated!

Myself and my daughter adored the young waitrons working in The Shake Shop. We had the most delicious shakes which were made quickly and efficiently, even when the waitrons were having fun and entertaining a group of young women. Great to see such amazing work chemistry! Highly recommended!

The best Eddie Rockets I've been to so far (including Cork branches). We went there for a quick bite before the cinema. As we walked in the restaurant was very busy but a staff came over straight away and lead us to a table with a big smile, food was ordered and served very quickly and all hot and tasty. The waitress was very friendly and even suggested a St Patrick's Day speical milk shake which was yummy!.The place with decorated with green decoration and the automosphere was just great, all staff smiling and we really enjoyed the trip. Bill came as €26, we shared a nacho starter, one main course each and one shake each. Great value I think! Will be back again!

Went here for a quick bite an catch up with two of my friends. Waiter was over straight away to take our order. We all ordered the great value red basket meals. Even though we weren't spending much they didn't rush us out the door which was good.

One of my favorite restaurants; definitely the best Eddie Rockets in Dublin. It's always packed and the staff are great and very friendly. There's always a good vibe, though sometimes there are queues outside the doors coming up to Christmas. Good value meals - I got the classic burger, with ER secret sauce and garlic fries. The nachos are great as a starter. My parter had the Southern Friend Chicken Tenders which come with cajun sauce and garlic sauce. Great place to go after shopping and everyone seems to love it. They do offer a takeaway service as well where you can go and collect the food, but obviously it's much nicer to eat in the restaurant.
