Had lunch here with family last week. The other three people I was with got the deal of the day which was chicken caesar salad with a glass of prosecco for just over 12 euro. One of our party wanted the dressing on the side which they had no problem with. I had the chowder which was lovely and I had my choice of bread to go with it. Staff were very friendly and asking if we were happy with everything throughout. The only thing was when we came to pay we could not get anyones attention, even though they had been so attentive until then. Lovely food and prosecco, if you are in Dundrum it is very nice and bright and nicely decorated for a light lunch.

Very poor experience here (now called Zest) last week. Brought a friend here for her birthday brunch and it was quite a let-down...The wait staff were very stand-off & barely communicative. I ordered the warm breakfast salad and the poached egg came undercooked, raw egg white running over my plate. My replacement arrived without apology and while cooked was very dissapointing - 2 slices of pudding cut in half and a rake of un-seasoned fried potatoes on mixed leaves - for €8! Not even any kind of dressing. Will be trying somewhere else for brunch next time!

I had dinner here today, the food was very below average, i Ordered fish and chips, haddock in a batter which was far too heavy, I just ate the fish inside, the chips were supposed to be twice cooked , instead i got 'macdonalds' cold chips which were, disgusting. I did order water, but a fly landed in it. It also came with a green salad, this arrived on the plate with the hot food. I eat out a fair bit, whenever i have ordered fish and chips elsewhere, its been a light batter with delicious chips and usually mashed peas with mint. What i was served today was €16, I decided not to leave a tip as I felt I had been done, rightly, I felt ill having to actually pay for this disgusting plate of food.

I was shopping in Dundrum earlier this week and decided to pop in to Cafe Mimo on the top floor of House of Frasier. I ordered the Chicken Tempura and some Fries. The portion was huge and the chicken and fries were piping hot, the food was nice. Service was prompt, which is what you want when "shopping". I would definitely go back.

I visited Cafe Mimo with a friend on thurs last and honestly, I won't be going back. We both opted for the steak special that was on offer. The restaurant was obviously catering for an expected crowd and it would appear that most of the food was precooked and heated to order. The steaks cooked rare and medium rare were in themselves beautiful but the rest of the dish left alot to be desired. The accompanying mushrooms were slightly tough and the chips were ridiculously hot. I also failed to taste any garlic in the garlic butter. The accompanying green salad was somewhat tired and miserable looking. Apart from the food the cafe itself is starting to look tired and somewhat grotty and it just didn't feel clean!! On the plus side the staff were lovely. At 18.50 a head including a glass of wine, I suppose you get what you pay for...or do you!!!

I work close to Dundrum shopping centre and have been struggling to find good value that is not all fast food and takeaway style for lunch. Decided to try cafe Mimo and now i go there anytime i feel like a treat. Great value and the mimo salad is delicious. Starter portion is sufficient for lunch leaves you sufficiently full but not heavy for the rest of the day. No waiting on tables which is always good as rusing back to the office and leave a good lunch with a sour taste. Would recommend for any meal not just lunch or even a break from a hard day's shopping!! Staff very attentive, & helpful. Keep up the good work Mimo!

A great spot to take a break from a heavy shopping trip, its relaxed spacious and friendly. Last Sunday breakfast was a treat after a heavy night out and there was no disappointments, I like a hot cup of tea with a fry and this was delivered with a smile and that knowing look. A bit of a mix up with the orders eggs and no eggs but it was all sorted with pleasant efficiency, well worth a try!

This is where I automatically head to now when in Dundrum. Despite the fact that this cafe is in a department store, it's bright and fairly spacious, you manage to feel detached from the world of shoppers on the other side of the glass walls. The food is lovely, and you can choose from a starter or main sized portion with many of the dishes, or add a grilled chicken breast for a small charge. Despite one incident when a waiter wasn't very helpful or polite when it came to accommodating a wheelchair user, the service is very efficient, and the staff are friendly.

I went for a late breakfast with a friend, we got a nice table and was plesantly surprised to find the Cafe away from shoppers passing by which made it a nice escape! I had French toast with maple syrup - it was light fluffy and delicious - the nicest I've ever had, the cappuccinos and lattes were lovely and the staff were polite! Only thing is that u have to go up to the register if u wnat to pay by credit card - Dying to try the salmon bagel with cream cheese next time!!

After a few visits I've found cafe mimo to be a bit of a mixed bag. It was very busy for this visit but we were seated fairly quickly. I ordered the goats cheese bruschetta and it was a good sized very tasty portion. My mum had the advocado and pancetta salad which arrived minus the pancetta. Once we realised what was missing we tried to get our waiters attention this took awhile, when he eventually came over to us and we explained the error is attitude was, well what do you want me to do? he didn't even say sorry which would have been nice. He begrudingly offered us a free coffee which we gladly accepted. Coffees were fine, when it came time to get the bill our waiter was impossible to get and two other members of staff we asked promptly fell off the face of the earth! In the end we just went to the till to pay.

Visited here with friends. Once in the morning for coffee and a delicious Lemon and poppyseed muffin and then later for a mimo salad, which was also delicious, we each got the starter size which was perfect for lunch. On both occasions we were not waiting long for a table and the staff were attentive. The best place for a light lunch in Dundrum.

Often pop in here for a bite to eat when in dundrum but less so recently with new arrival .I ventured in last week around lunch. the place was very busy but the very helpful waiter got me a good table with buggy room included! Had a perfect lunch of steak sandwich and fries and coffee to follow. My only complaint is , any time I order a coke here it is always flat. My advice dont pour warm coke onto cold cold ice!

While the food is good - we had ciabattas - this place is nuts. They got in new bar stool/chairs and half of them were broken, to the extent that people couldn't sit on them. The vertical pole of the seat wasn't screwed in properly to the base and sitting on them meant that you were sitting on the seat at 45 degrees looking at the ceiling!! Service was quite good. Value is also good - especially the pre 4 o'clock breakfast. Other than the crazy chairs - which I am sure they will replace - I would return.

Love Mimo. I have been here for breakfast, lunch and coffee, all hours of the day, in busy and quiet times and it always delivers. I love it! The food is great, always fresh and very tasty. Good value for money too. Staff are helpful and friendly but sometimes seem a little understaffed and run off their feet. Overall I would consider this Cafe above average for what it is.
