One of the foremost chefs that India has produced, Sunil Ghai was born in Gwalior in central India where he gained experience with the world famous Oberoi cooking group. He made the move to Ireland in 2001 when he joined the esteemed Jaipur restaurant group in 2001 where he has worked ever since.
Sunil combines his love of traditional Indian food with more contemporary recipes; the menu at Ananda bear the fruits of this experience and his culinary expertise. Sunil works regularly at the award-winning Benares restaurant in London with Michelin-starred chef Atul Kochhar. Together Sunil and Atul created the menu and the stunning restaurant that is the popular Anada today.
