Without doubt the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. Please please please do not waste your money in this restaurant, the food is inedible and expensive. My order was incorrect to start which didn't help but every single dish wash terrible. Do NOT get swayed by the other obviously made up reviews in which certain words are clearly spelt incorrectly almost as though English wasn't their main language and would suggest an inside job. Anyway don't make the same mistake we did eat somewhere else!

had a very bad experience in this restaurant. when we came in it was empty, but the staff was running around with their own things to do ( with fixing the tables and so on) and it lasted during all dinner time. didn´t have any quite minute because of that. food wasnt good at all comparing with the prices. paid 60 euros for two persons and went out hungry. I would say the service was worst I ever experienced. will never go back again.

Called in a take-away delivery. Driver had to call to confirm address but delivery was still within the time suggested. My guests were so complimentary I was blushing! I hadn't ordered from Yungs in a while but I'm questioning why. The quality of all the meals was top notch and good value too. I won't be going elsewhere. Brenda Byrne

This restaurant is in my neighbor, so we go there about twice a month. The waiteress is very friendly and the service is excellent. The food is not bad, and the price is very good for lunch.

This has been a favourite family restaurant for over 20 years and has never disappointed. We have come here for every family celebration from exams to retirement. It is quite simply the best Chinese restaurant we have visited in the UK, Ireland or France. The pork dumplings are out of this world, with a wonderful vinegar, garlic and chilli sauce, and it is worth visiting for those alone. The menu has all the standard dishes and then some specialities of the restaurant itself. The food is always excellent, the service attentive and friendly, and we far from the only regulars, not surprising given how good the restaurant is. In response to the previous reviewer - having to pay extra for rice is standard for most Chinese and Indian restaurants unless you are having a rice based dish; I don't really see the problem. Not all want rice - some want noodles - some even want chips, it makes sense for it to be separate.

I went with my partner for a quick bite. As Chinese restaurant food goes it was o.k, but way overpriced. I was disgusted that in the current recessionary times they are still charging separately for the rice on main courses, and this is not stated anywhere on the menu. I complained and they took just €3 off the bill....never going back there, too many other restaurants with really good food at reasonable prices.

Yungs are doing a special midweek deal of only €18 (I think) for two courses well worth it as you get to pick whatever you want from the menu. Food is lovely, you get the same food at lunchtime for cheap and it's well worth it. The restaurant is small and initmate and the staff are lovely. I have eaten here many times and every evening I still want to go back

Was here for a large family meal and the service was excellent... the staff are really friendly. Food was lovely and the portions are quite big.. it is a bit on the pricey side but i did notice they have a set menu running which seems reasonable! Overall good value

Had dinner here on Good Friday having passed the closed doors of our more usual haunts! Am very glad we did so. The exterior and the decor are not great and at first we thought it was shut. However the staff are extremely welcoming and make up for any lack. The food is quite expensive but the quality is high. We had Deep Fried Squid and the Wafer Prawns (1 of my all-time favourites) to start and Singapore Vermicelli and 1/2 Crispy Aromatic Duck for our main course. My companion had never tried any of them apart from the squid. He was definitely pleasantly surprised. They were all light but filling, flavourful and well presented. The duck was brought whole to the table and shredded in front of us. The prawns were meaty and the vermicelli delicate and not oily, as it often is. Our quibbles were that we preferred the squid with the prawn dip and the prawns with plain soy sauce! It cost €53 (water only) but was worth it. Would go back if out in Dun Laoghaire for a treat.

Best Chinese Food around, bit pricey, but well worth it. Staff so nice. Everything on the menu is gorgeous, seriously! And the place itself has a lovely atmosphere. Great for partys, or a quiet nite with your other half.

Had dinner here with 12 of our employees this week. The food was excellent, the atmosphere great and the service was on the ball. However, the price was on the expensive side.

I've eaten here a number of times and they have fantastic food and very attentive staff. It is miles ahead of any other Chinese Restaurant I've been to in Dublin.
