I used to come here for years. I always really liked the food and never had much to say about the staff. But recently I'd tried it three time with hope each time and finally i will never return again. One of the staff members is really rude, very unfriendly and very unappreciative of any custom - a bad attitude towards customer service. The chips are gone so bad, greasy thin little chips with a serious decline in quantity. All the chips are regulared size and makes them seem far from home made or hand cut. I also got a take away recently and the bag of chips I ordered was literally the white little bag filled and then put into a large brown bag. The cod was dry and measly. dissapointing after being such a long term local customer.

Hell.I have always been fan of Miami for years. But what i discovered during my last visit there got me totally shocked. As you know it's italian run restaurant and they often speak their language behind the counter while working. Italian is my second language, i lived and worked there for few years so can understand Italian very well. I overheard them talking in italian about the halal meat delivery which did not come as planned. That is absolutelydisgusting of them to serve halal meat without telling customers.I got furious about that and asked for the refund. My money was returned to me after long argument with Owner who assumed me that there was nothing wrong about that meat. PLEASE OTHER CUSTOMERS BE WARNED NEXT TIME YOU GO THERE!!!!YOU MIGHT NOT REALISE THAT YOU EAT HALAL AND THEY WOULD NOT TELL YOU!!!!! I WILL NEVER DINE IN THERE AGAIN!!!!

I love this place. It's a childhood favourite of mine. The fish and chips are excellent. It is run by a very nice Italian family and their service is excellent. The seats are somewhat small but that's no problem really. The prices are decent but it's well worth it.

I always enjoy my visit to The Miami, and have done so for many years, i love the food, i love the place itself, i have always found that the attitude of one of the staff that takes the order and waits on the table awful. it's like its a total bother to him, really gets under my skin, and has on occasion made decide to eat elsewhere, i know its only a small issue, but it sets me off from the getgo, and with the prices being a little bit more expensive than most chippers, the least you'd expect is service with a smile and a welcoming face.

A regular haunt as it is so near the cinema in Dun Laoghaire. Easy to nip in here beforehad for fish'n'chips or a nice mushroom omelette. The cafe is a typical sit-in chipper, a bit retro but clean. A good selection of both healthy and 'comfort food' options. Great value for money.

Decided to come here to recover both from the snow and the night before. I had the cheeseburger with chips, a batter sausage and curry sauce all of which are nice. I have always enjoyed coming here for a quick fix but portions do appear to have lessened and staff can be rude, in saying that it did the trick and is cheap enough.

Grapped a quick bite in hear with a friend as we both fancied chips. I thought the veggie burger was quite tasty and very similar to other chippers veggie burgers. The chips were also good but not a huge portion. The curry sauce was the highlight being full of flavour and lots of of it to cover the chips. Service was fine but slow. Diner style benches for seating with little atmosphere but the place was clean. Prices are slightly higher than other chippers.

i have very mixed feelings about this place because it completely depends what day you go on,its hit and miss, but when its good, its really good!the special chicken burger is a nice treat but hugely filling!the staff can be a bit rude, and forgetfull...oh and the booths are for midgets so its not really great for relaxing, but grand for a quick drop in lunch.

I love the Miami Cafe!!! If you fancy freshly cooked delicious fish and chips this is defo the place to come. The food is really good and the service is quick and friendly. Only problem is sometimes its full (ususally on a saturday) so you might have to wait for a table. Think its the best chipper for miles around.

Lovely family run chipper/restaurant. It's something different as it's not everyday that you get to eat in at a chipper. Fresh Cod and Chips are lovely. Food is overall great. Atmosphere is ok too but sometimes you get some junkies in there but I still love Dun Laoghaire :D. Service is good, I gave it 4 stars as when you just sit down they come over and ask for your order as if to rush you. I can understand this when the place is full as its a small place and they want as many customers per day as possible.

I agree with others, the chips here are very good. Had a chicken burger with chips today. Arrived hot and fresh. Good food, good price. Worth a visit. Do not expect great atmosphere, it is a diner not the Ritz.

No doubt the best chipper in Dun Loaghaire, good sized portions and tasty chips, you can sit in if you want too.
