Been here for a few meals over the years sadly been disappointed recently.. tried the new dun laoghaire branch for breakfast (loved the old one for dinner) and had a very bad time food was way over cooked and other members of our party had slime floating in their tea! No genuine apology offered was very sad to leave on such a bad note..

1st visit 2 weeks ago was a delight, we brought 3 friends back and had a dining nightmare. Lamb was really tough and clearly heated quickly, patato bravos was simply deep fried served with pieces of pepper on top and no flaver except the fryer, no chicken wings @ 7pm so ordered meatballs, which were tough and tasteless, service as bad as the food, seemed like they were just throwing food at tourists, shame on you guys, never again for ug

I never write reviews but feel this needs a mention. Me, my friends, family and partner are very regular customers and for good reason, the food is beyond outstanding and the service is fantastic. I recommend the quesadillas and the fish cakes. The staff is brilliant, especially Muireen, Danny and Aoife! The coffee and the decor add to the overall experience. I dine out frequently and love to try new places but this is always worth coming back every time!

What a disaster! When the chef doesn't know how to cook their recipes i.e. potatoes in the hueovo rancheros and they've no bread for French toast or bananas to accompany the pancakes it is time to leave, what a disappointment . The worst part was the poor attitude of the manager. Not a patch on the Malahide one. Shame.

First time I have eaten dinner here as I normally go for brunch. Our waitress was very good - the best I have had in a long time, she was very attentive and friendly which added to the night. Food was good - only thing I would say is that the fish cakes need more fish in them! Aside of that everyone was happy.

Nice restaurant and staff but not the most extensive of menus for a tapas restaurant. Nevertheless the food was tasty and I'd go back just for the sweet potato fries.

Went here on a Friday evening for tapas. The service was excellent. For starters we shared a mezze plate which was fine, the usual standard. stuff-it said that it came with homemade bread but it looked and tasted like the rolls you buy in supermarkets to bake at home. Mains were delicious, paella and coconut prawns in particular were excellent. Desserts were subtle in flavour to the point of blandness. They came with fresh strawberries and raspberries which tasted like summer. Quite an achievement on a cold January evening. I would say that the wine list is expensive with not much by the glass which is a shame. Over all it is well worth a visit.

Great breakfast here and the service is always brilliant! I am gluten free vegetarian so not the easiest to please and had two delicious baps with eggs, mushrooms and tomatoes - really lovely! The team are always so friendly and the food is always excellent no matter what time of day!

We've eaten here numerous times and keep coming back. Gourmet Food Parlour is like a reliable old friend - we know we'll always get a high quality meal of tapas goodies, well presented with good service at reasonable prices in a comfortable atmosphere. Great coffee and desserts, too. Only one quibble: Bring back the paella!

Great Tapas! Small, cosy and friendly. Try to get one of the window seats for more comfort. Really tasty food, generous for Tapas and on occasion good music also.

love the place. one of my most favourite places to go. it's great to get out of town and meet with friends in a cozy place like the Gourmet Food Parlour. I love the tapas portions. One point of improvement is to offer more than one glass wine. They only offer one red and one white. If you're only after a glass, there's no choice.
