I went here for carvery lunch with one of my work colleague around 2PM. They stopped serving lunch by then, but when we asked if there is any way that we can get something to eat the waiter kindly accommodated us. It was my 2nd time here. Both of us had turkey main course and it was great. I would like to thank you guys for making an effort and serving us. I will be definitely back with my family soon.

Ate here with a group of friends before a night out I had the steak sandwich which was delicious. The service was great and they also allow you to buy a bottle of wine in the off license next door and pay a 5 euro corkage fee to drink it in the pub which makes it a great place for dinner and drinks before heading into town.

I can't remember the exact date I was here I just remember it was near the end of my pregnancy. nnI had, had a long day in the hospital so we decided on the way home not to cook. nnI have eaten in Bakers many, many time but I think as I was not drinking I appreciated the food much more. nnI had the steak sandwich and it was cooked perfectly. nnThe staff both at the bar and serving the food were so friendly and helpful. I asked to change a few things with my dinner and there was no hassle at all. nnI had such a delicious meal and a nice relaxin time. nnAnything I have ever eaten here has been lovely and I would highly recommend it for pub grub.

I agree with the previous posters, really slow service, overpriced for average pub food. It's the type of place that wants you in and out quick - no relaxing here. Plus they charge you for mi-wadi, which is the ultimate penny squeezing move in my opinion. On the positive it gives good portions, the food is a 5/10 at best - this place won't give you the wow factor - good for a bite on the run, but not place for treating your friends or family

Lovely atmosphere, great location but such slow service! Well, slow service if they remember you. In my case, they just forgot my order.. had to remind them twice! Value is alright, but the food is nothing special.. average pub grub. Sure I'll be back for drinks in the evening, but back for food? I don't think so.

Bakers corner offers good pub food with a decent service and tranquil atmosphere on a Sunday evening. The evening menu offers a good choice of dishes and I tasted the pizza with cheese, pepperoni and ham. It was thin crusted and tasted lovely, very enjoyable. For dessert homemade apple pie and cream was also quite enjoyable. Other desserts on the menu were ice cream, tiramisu, cheesecake etc, so a good selection. For pub grub i would rate this place quite well. However the food was relatively slow to arrive and my partners sirloin steak was overcooked.

Atmosphere is good. Food is alright, but not something I would go back for. Found the service quite slow even during the busy lunch times.

This place was buzzing - full of students from the local art college after their graduate show. We were served by a friendly barman and waitress. The food was served very promptly even though the staff were clearly very busy. We had falafel in pitta bread which came with a lovely fresh salad. It woiuld have been even nicer with a little bit of dressing. The hot and spicy pizza was very tasty. I would definitely eat here again.

We popped in here after coming back from Kiliney beach by chance, having heard about it from friends we decided to try it having passed it. We visited about 6 on a monday evening and it was buzzing! There was a couple of people having food but the pub was mainly busy with after work drinkers. If the atmosphere is like that on a monday, it must be a great spot on the weekends. Theres a great selection and we both went for cajun chicken, I had a wrap, she had a ciabatta. Its essentially simple pub grub but big on flavour. Our dishes came with chips and such was the portion we couldn't finish it. The pub itself is quite a large venue with lots of side rooms and nooks and crannys to hide an sip your pint in peace. Theres a great sized smoking area thats well decorated. Staff are really friendly and not at all intrusive. Will definitely be back!

I ate here a couple of times before and I was never impressed with the food I received, however, this time I was more than happy. I liked the changes they made to their menu and decided on the lamb cutlets which were perfectly rare and the red wine jus to match was lovely. I also tasted my partners pizza which was equally as good. Much improved.
