It's Saturday the 21st January 2017 and booked a table for 2. The service is shocking and we had to wait ages to just order drinks. They are primarily a takeout delivery operation with no regard to seated customers. Crap place and will not be back. Recommend to Stear clear.

Called by and collected a takeout. Duck Cantonese was a knockout. Lived close by and never tried rickshaw. Super impressed. Absolutely recommend, good guys

We were there last night - we love Rickshaws as a take away - only one we use as the quality of their food is excellent. We would probably go to their restaurant more often but find it cold. Its a big restaurant so probably hard to heat and expensive but if they did, they might get more customers coming to eat in. Otherwise, the food their last night for two adults and a teenager was top class.

Really disappointed about having to write this review as we really like the place but I felt the need too. So yesterday myself and girlfriend went out to have a meal at Rickshaw, service was slow due to a lack of staff on a busy night, in total it took 1 hour until our main course arrived which was annoying. However that's not the real reason for writing the review, during that time the waiter spilled half a bottle of coke over my trousers, now i felt sorry for her because it is embarrassing to do that to a customer but the fact that her or the manager barely said sorry...only are you ok, is not good enough. Like yes i am ok but please clean the table and floor which they didn't. Honestly the heated tray still had coke on it and the floor was soaking so when we stood up our feet were sticking when we started walking. Not only that i didn't receive any apology at the desk when paying for the bill let alone some credit for the next time. I thought it was really bad managment, little did they know that we had planned to go out directly after our meal with coke stained trousers. Terrible terrible service, i won't be back!

The set meals are great value, I tend to order ala carte and its still good value in comparison to other chinese restaurants in the general vicinity. Always surprised there are not more people in this restuarant, in the boom you had a 2 week wait to get a table at a weekend, now its always quiet, takeaway is always busy. Food and service has been consistently good for years.

By far the best Chinese take-away in my area. Food is delicious. Would recommend the shredded chilli and onion chicken starter, the sesame chicken starter, and any of the sate dishes. The chef's special dishes are always worth trying too. It's so nice to get takeaway food like this that is actually restaurant standard.

Unlike the previous reviewer we did not find the food salty. It was very tasty and we felt good afterwards! The staff were polite, welcoming, and efficient and provided an excellent service. The decor and setting were both lovely. The place was really quiet when we were there. The prices listed on the menupages' website seem to be the prices for the take away menu - the restaurant prices are more expensive. We felt they were a little on the pricey side. When we ordered our mains (curry and prawns with cashew nuts) we didn't expect to be charged extra for the rice or chips but we were. This meant that the mains came to about €17 - 18 euro including the rice / chips. Overall, we will go back as the food was very good!

The food is nice here but can be quite salty. The service is excellent and the staff are friendly. The decor is really nice and the set menu prices are great. It's a nice family restaurant.

I really like this chinese and I find it hard to find a good chinese lately. It is a little bit far for me as I live in the city centre. I found the restaurant really nice and spacious and the staff friendly-they gave us a few glasses of wine on the house at the end of the meal, which is always a plus. I had the chicken with cashewnuts -I love the way they serve it in the eddable basket-very few places do that anymore. The restauarant seemed busy enough for midweek. I have heard a lot of people from the area talk about this restaurant as of late.

I LOVE chinese takeout & this little place was introduced to me by a friend - the name is cool! So I had to try it! I got the Beef in black bean with boiled rice for mains which was lovely but the beef was a bit on the chewy side.. The Kung Po sauce & rice crackers were ok, but the Salt & chili chicken was unreal! OMG i love this dish! I would def recommend it to anyone mmmm Its a little out of my way as its in deansgrange & i live in D12. But wil definitley consider it again!

I love this restaurant! We usually go in a group of 4 or 5 and we always have a lovely evening. The restaurant itself is lovely and even when full you don't feel too close to other tables. The service is brilliant, lovely staff who are very attentive. The food is so lovely, especially my favourite - teriyake beef. Food is always fresh and hot, and all arrive at the same time - kitchens are obviously well organised. No rushing us out after we've eaten, they don't mind us sitting over our wine for a while afterwards, and sometimes even bring us extra drinks on the house!

I think this place is nice. The portions are pretty good. The quality of the food is not the worste yet it is still not the best i have had in this area of cuisine. I wouldn't return as its nothing special so i would prefare to try some place else. all in all not bad, but not the best.
