Best breakfast in Dublin, cheap, great food, not left out under lights. A gem.

A TRUE greasy spoon cafe! This place, hands down, does THE best breakfast in Dublin and is guaranteed to cure any hangover! The place is always packed and it's a matter of squeezing into whatever space you can find but it just adds to the character. Breakfasts are churned out within 2-3 min of ordering. Great staff also!

This is the best breakfast place you can get in the entire Dublin! Choose from breakfast roll with fillings you want or a full or small breakfast on the plate, tried them all and every time it was/is and I believe will be delicious! The place is very small and usually pretty cramped on Saturday or Sunday morning/lunch time but they also do take away, which I prefer, so you can bring your breakie home and enjoy in your own peace. They do have few tables so if you want, you can sit in and enjoy it there but I prefer the take away option as the smell from the kitchen and people going in and out all the time is a bit too much for me. If you decide to try it, be aware – once you try it, you will never get enough of it! :)

Another groggy morning after cured by the wonderful breakfast provided by these guys. Cheap as chips... so you have to go for Matt's famous breakfast. It's a mighty load and they allow you to trade anything you dislike (liver) for an extra portion of something you do like. Service is amazing too. Never left waiting for more than about 7 mins for my breakfast. Just the remedy.

Love this place for a fry up after a night out..thats what usually frequents the place on a saturday and sunday morning but please do not let this put you off..their full Irish breakfast is amazing, the waitress are fast and lighting and so is the food, out in a jiffy, four table's outside for those wanting to brave the cold or if we have a rare sunny morning. They also do lunch and dinner, have never had a bad experience here, one of the best greasy spoons around Crumlin.

Good fresh quality food and good coffee as well. If your not too worried about calories and want a decent feed then this is the place to be. The best thing about Matt the Rashers is the staff, they are sharp, not afraid to work and are really on the ball. Matts baguette stuffed with rashers, chicken and onions is my personal favourite..... now I know why I renewed my Gym membership.

I live in rathfarnham but if i go for a nice Fry i go to Matt the Rashers. Grew up close to it and have been a loyal customer since. Would defo recommend. They do a takeaway service and the food is to die for on those nasty hang over mornings. Prices are great in comparison to other places. Staff are courteous and service is quick.
