I never do these reviews online, but I feel like I have to for this because my experience with BomBay Pantry was so bad. I ordered Korma and pulao rice. The Korma sauce tasted exactly like one out of a jar that you'd find in any supermarket, the sauce was very bland, and the pulao rice had no spices, it was as though they just threw some basmati in the dregs of the broth. Not happy. Won't order from here again, it's not a proper Indian.

What has happened to this place? It used to be so great. Today, we ordered a prawn starter (more a side dish), a lamb starter and a prawn masala. The prawn starter/side dish was cold, though tasty. The lamb shaslik was nice. The prawn masala was an enormous tub of coriander flavoured tomato soup with about 8 tiny prawns lost in it. The cost would have been fine if the food was good, but this would have to go down as the worst take-away I have ever had. When the food was being collected, people were complaining about the service and one woman insisted that they check her bag to make sure everything was in it before she left, because of previous experience. I hope things improve for the Bombay Pantry but it will take a lot to get me back there.

If you are tired on your way home from work and just can't face cooking then Bombay is probably one of the best Indian takeaway options in Dublin. Reliable service and food quality, prices have come down in recent years - good value deal for two - 19 quid. Never been unhappy - would definitely order in advance And pick-up! - a good 15 min cooking time (encouraging) and delivery is pretty slow - 40 mins plus generally. Keep up the good work.

I love indian food, ever since it was first brought home I've loved the spices, hot, tasty, smooth, succulent meat and vegetables. I've grown in my love of indians from the local to restaurants with many never really getting there, I've had it abraod too and can say that Uk & Irl make the best curry outside of Asia. My first Bombay Pantry was a revalation, I never knew food could taste this good nor did I know that Tikka Massala was not flourescent pink and that spices could be gradual not just a bunch of chilli peppers. My perfect order from these guys would be Samosa, Bhajia for starters, Chicken Biryani, Saag Paneer Khumbi, Prawn Bhuna, Kashmiri Roganjosh, Beef Kahari, Steamed Basmati and Garlic & Peshwari Naan. A feast and a pleasure. Delivery is sometimes slow. But the best Indian in Dublin
