Breakfast was over €10 which didnt include the tea/coffee so end up paying €13 which is crazy for a breakfast. My daughters pancakes were €10 which again is another disagree. This place is always busy. Lines of people out the door sometimes, So I expected something really amazing and was a little disappointed. I ordered the Vegetarian burger which was a very dry chickpea affair that fell to pieces and had to be eaten with a fork. it was a little bland and I found myself eating the chips and leaving most of it behind. I wish the taste and eating experience had been thought out a bit more and the trendy presentation a little less. Service is on balance good but a bit over familiar and waiters shout out the orders as they bring them to the table if there is a large group.. "Who's having the Veggie burger?, Veggie Burger?? Whose having the Veggie Burger?, anyone??" and so on for each persons order.. I hate this in restaurants it shows no class or skill as a server. If I was in a diner in the New York it might be cute, but in the Park Carrickmines its annoying. Over all not bad, but not worth the wait in line at the door and over crowed space once in the restaurant.. I think when its not busy it might be nice for a coffee and a slice of cake..

I ate here during a Saturday lunchtime. I have eaten here on many occasions for lunch and breakfast. Menu is very nice with lots to choose from and the staff are always very friendly and accommodating. On this occasion I had tried the fish stew. Which although the fish was lovely and tasty the stew was overly salty for my tastes.

Having already visited the Vanilla Pod Pizzeria for lunch and being quite impressed we decided to go for breakfast. The restaurant opens earlier than their website states around 8.30. There is lots of choice on the menu, the food is delicious and the staff are very friendly. With the amazing selection of cakes, it is impossible to leave without a tasty treat for later. Highly recommend.

When you realise your biggest complaint you have is the wait for a table you know you are at a good place, I stopped off at the Vanilla pod (As I have done a number of times before) The food as always was amazing. The service is great and staff are always helpful and always go out of their way to help you, (especially with two kids accompanying us) can't really fault the place.

Absolutely lovely place to grab a coffee or something to eat. Having had breakfast there in the past (which was very tasty) we decided to have lunch and we were not disappointed. I had the super food salad with chicken, which was not only health but extremely filling. My husband had the sandwich of the day and was equally impressed. Will definitely return.

I eat lunch here at least once a week and love the place. Its simple food cooked really well and priced just right. The staff are always really friendly and the food is always served up very fast. The queues that go out the door every weekend is a sign that this is one of the best places in Dublin for lunch. I highly recommend it.

I had the misfortune to have lunch today at the Vanilla Pod, Carrickmines and as the whole experience was so disappointing I feel compelled to post this review. The restaurant was busy at 12:30p.m. when we arrived, but we were seated quickly and efficiently. However, once we were seated our server immediately had the most appalling attitude. To make matters worse, we did not receive an apology from any of the restaurant staff and during the remainder of the meal, nobody even bothered to ask us how the food was or if we needed anything. The final nail in the coffin was when the bill arrived. My husband had to ask 3 times for the charge for the soup to be removed from the bill. All in all, a very disappointing and forgettable experience not to be recommended..

A really super eatery in Dublin South. Staff are always so friendly and accommodating. The salads are absolutely delicious! I travel here to pick one up at lunch time! The Char-grilled Chicken salad with cous cous is a must try and the superfood salad is great too. Overall, can't fault this place other than on cost but you actually get quality for what you pay for, so it's worth it! Great job Vanilla Pod :)

Best coffee and scone takeout deal in Ireland! If you're around for lunch, try the daily soups. I rarely look at the board to see what the soup is. Never fails to impress.

I eat here quite regularly as I work close by. As with all good eateries in the area, Vanilla Pod is always busy so you should always be prepared to have to queue for a table although the waiting time has somewhat decreased as they have expanded into their sister restaurant next door. Portion sizes are very large and the food is always fantastic. It's not the place for a quiet lunch as it is always buzzing with busy shoppers, yummy mummys and their kids etc..... Service can be a bit slow in peak times but the quality of the food makes up for this. A delightful little bistro all in all!

Went here Monday for lunch, food was lovely but service was dreadful. Had to wait 20 minutes for a table even though there were plenty empty and never got the tea and coffees ordered for our table.

Went there before as I liked it the few times I was there. We had the breakfast/brunch menu. The atmosphere was a bit noisy as it is open plan. We got a table straight away.even though it was starting to get busy. The staff were very friendly and pleasant. The food was very tasty and well presented . They could do with changing the menu every so often. The staff deserve all the credit for a very nice experience. It's worth a visit. Will go back again

I have been to Vanilla Pod many times for brunch and more recently for lunch. The food is delicious every time and the staff are always very friendly. The breakfast/brunch menu is fabulous but I almost always sway towards the French Toast with bacon. The portion sizes are generous and the variety on the menu is good - great place even if you just want a scone and coffee. Lunch was fabulous too - the burger is so tasty! Everything is cooked to order which means it's always lovely and fresh. The service can sometimes be a little slow as it's always very busy, particularly at weekends but if you're not in a hurry, just relax and enjoy it! I'm definitely keeping this on my "regular" list!
