The Brasserie Restaurant offers a cosy informal setting where guests can relax and enjoy a delicious bite for breakfast, lunch or dinner in a warm and friendly environment at prices that won’t break the bank.

A hearty Bewley’s breakfast is just what you need to set you up for the day whether your stay is for business or pleasure. Featuring only the best Irish produce we are officially the only Hotel Group in Ireland offering a ‘Fully Irish Irish Breakfast’ and this is served buffet style so guests can select their favourites and design their own plate. While the hot breakfast is certainly hard to resist so too is the cold buffet which offers a good selection of home baked pastries, breads, cereals and fresh fruits complimented by a choice of aromatic Bewleys Teas or Coffees.

For lunch, guests can choose between the hot carvery with its daily changing menu and choice of ‘specials’, a hearty salad platter from the cold counter or a made-to-order deep-filled sandwich with a delicious bowl of chefs steaming homemade soup from the deli counter in the Atrium Lounge.

The diverse range of delicious starters, wholesome main courses and tantalising desserts on the new Brasserie menu at Bewley’s Hotel Ballsbridge are reflective of the passion and enthusiasm our chefs have for Irish ingredients, local suppliers and sustainable sourcing. Our guests who are away from home frequently know that they can enjoy a meal that is as close to home cooking as it gets, from a hearty steak or slow cooked pork belly to an aromatic curry or fish dish. Portions are generous, only the best of what is in season is used and prices reflect great value.

Families and ‘young diners’ are also catered for at the Brasserie Restaurant. While eating out can be a lovely treat, it can also be very hard work if the venue of choice is not family friendly. There are certain details that can make the whole experience much more enjoyable for all concerned and these are all catered for at the Brasserie. These include the availability of high chairs, a carefully designed ‘young diners’ menu which includes half portions of adult meals if preferred, a range of healthy fruit juices and colouring crayons to keep the children happily entertained during mealtime.

The Lounge menu in Tom’s Bar features a good choice of light bites and snacks served by friendly and efficient staff in a relaxed bar setting and room service is available should you prefer to dine in your room.

Worse service ever, sat down at 6.30, took three hours to complete meal. Three out of six plates were cold, potatoes arrive when main course was finished, desert ice-cream and sorbets turned to liquid and took a few attempts to get teas and coffee. Nobody seemed to know what to do. Inexperience, won't be back.

Food was ok and staff were lovely. There was 4 of us - all using a menupages voucher so it was half price which means I can't really complain about value for money but I wouldn't eat here again unless they changed the menu and some of their prices. Please, Bewleys, call your Lamb Shank an Irish Stew as that is what it is and at €19.50 it's overpriced imo. It was a waste of a good lamb shank - use a cheaper cut because it's a stew and it all tastes the same given long enough. Can you tell I had the Lamb Shank? lol. Anyway, my friends had the Hake which was lovely and good size portion. Another had the Pasta Bake which was nice - watch out for the nuclear hot plate. And the other had the Pork which was nice but nothing special. The starters were ok, the best was the Duck - a meal in itself. Heat the plums, add some plum sauce and you have a main course here. Only one of us had dessert - the Sticky Toffee Pudding and it was scrumptious. Maybe this is all tmi but btw you get 90 mins free parking when you eat in Bewleys which would come in handy at busy times in Ballsbridge.

As you enter the restaurant there is lovely waft of char grilled beef which instantly makes you want to check out the steak! Excellent professional, fast service, good food & not over the top price, yes the steak lived up to the smell. For me the place was a bit open plan as prefer cosy. Had menupages voucher which did a lot to reduce the bill which wasnt over the top by any means anyway. Good wine also. A good spot to book if going Aviva etc.. as well within walking distance but far enough not to be out the door.

Used a menupages voucher for dinner here with hubby and 3 kids. It was a Saturday night and the place was almost empty. On the plus side, the kids menu was good and had a good selection of stuff - not limited to your usual pizza or chicken nuggets. Although there was a set menu option the voucher only applies to the a la carte. The food was a good average - nothing spectacular - but very expensive. Wont be going back. Just too expensive.

My partner and I both had Sunday lunch in the Brasserie Restaurant. We both had the roast beef which I must say was excellent. We had both of our children with us who we hardly seen as they sat in the kiddies corner having their face's painted! What a break! We shall certainly return

Had lunch here yesterday with the children before their cricket final. I was very impressed its all done up and they have loads of seating space and I loved the decor - so clean and fresh. They have a really good cavery and so well laid out. They have something to suit everyone's appetite. I had a chicken Tagine and the children had half portions of chicken Tagine and half the roast of the day which we all enjoyed immensely. The staff were pleasant and helfpful. There is a carpark underground with some tight corners. Would definitely go back soon.

The food wasn't bad here at all - it arrived quickly & it was nice! There was absolutely no atmosphere here at all - it is just a space where they serve food! The service is just dreadful we spent a lot of the time here trying to catch someone's eye to order a drink to order food, to order dessert. Customer service is definitely a miss here.

Ate here Sat night. Felt decor was like a large canteen - wooden chairs & booths. Staff showed no interest in customers - just took orders & delivered food - little interaction. We ate off set menu but supplements really annoying - €5.50 for fillet steak - which they did not have when my husband ordered it. Sirloin steak carried a €4.50 supplement - as it was only 8oz felt this was extreme. I had to ask twice for the wine & chips weren't hot so had to be returned. Opted for 2 small taster desserts - came in tiny ramekins & were very disappointing. Would not return - staff need to be trained in customer service & restaurant needs a total overhaul. Also - supplements should not be added to Eary Bird menus - especially such high ones!!!

The Brasserie has a beautiful menu with really well prepared food. I had the red thai curry, which was really nice, my friend had the roast chicken, it looked and tasted better than perfect! Lovely atmosphere, well organised and friendly staff. I will hopefully be visiting again!

went here for mothers day with the family for carvery, there were 5 of us. while the food was lovely, the staff were helpful and polite, the place is family friendly but they ran out of loads of food. myself and other patrons had to wait 10/15 + minutes for the salad bar to be refilled, this was only after i asked. i haven't been here since it changed management. i was slightly disappointed. for the day that it was, they were under prepared. the meal was enjoyable and it was ample food (when restocked). i would go back but insure it was a quite time of the day. and definitely car pool as they charge for parking.
