We had a discount voucher to try out here for lunch, and what a culinary experience it was. Service and attention was just excellent in the lush surroundings. Yes, wine by the glass & sparkling water might seem expensive, but the quality was excellent and I had a fantastic Rioja. We had the seafood chowder and smoke salmon for starters, along with a selection of breads with pesto and olive oil dips alongside, mmmm!, the experience was underway. Then the grilled plaice fillets and pork belly. You could smell the sea freshness of the fillets, really was good, and my wife's pork belly, the meal that is, was very tender and tasty. These type of dishes sometime give you the impression of not much on the plate, but I must say we were well fed. After dessert and ordering the excellent coffee, to our surprise, my wife was presented a birthday candle with square fours on a slate, having had mentioned that the occasion was her birthday when booking. How nice of them to note that, and present this little extra. Would love to afford to go again sometime.

We went for lunch here with a menu pages deal. The normal price is €28 per person for 3 courses (also available in the early evening). Not a bad price, however drinks are extremely expensive. Glasses of wine start at €8.75, and coffee at the end of the meal was around €5.95 per person. Having said that, we had a nice meal and the service was excellent. We had a good table looking on to the inner garden of the hotel. A pleasant experience overall.

Went for lunch with my husband. The food and service were excellent as one would expect in a 5 star hotel. It was lovely to sit and relax over lunch. I thought it was good value as well.

Ate here on a quiet thursday afternoon. With only 4 tables seated in a very large room we could barely see them we were so far away. Had the mussels and it was ok. The Cheeseburger was huge and could only eat half of it. Luckily the Apple Tart rescued the meal. The person I was dining with struggled with the menu as a vegetarian and the Chef on request made the rosemary patatoe pizza with truffle. She really enjoyed her pizza. I don't know if I would dine there again as I still prefer the lobby lounge in the Hotel.

We used our Menupages voucher here, we had a wait time of 3 weeks to use it on a saturday. When we arrived we were asked if we wanted water, we said yes. We were given a bottle that cost €6.50 we were not offered any iced water that seemed to be doing the rounds. This should of been offered as in iced, still or sparkling. The staff were very attentive my glass of wine was never empty, at €40 a bottle i expected this for the Four Seasons. We had Soup and salmon for starters this was lovely, followed by curry for main. After dinner we sat in the lobby for a cocktail this was really nice. The atmosphere was complimented with piano been played.

Myself & a friend went for lunch Saturday two weeks ago after I purchased a Menupages voucher online. The food was absolutely fabulous. I had Seafood Chowder for Starter, which is one of my favourites anyway, but I have to say this was the nicest I have ever tasted. I went on to have the Pork Schnitzel for main course with apple & red cabbage and again this was a lovely dish, my only complaint being that I was so full from the fabulous chowder and fresh breads that was placed on our table that I couldn't fully enjoy it because of my full stomach! Dessert was the best I've had in a long time, Warm Banoffie Sundae with Whiskey Ice Cream....to die for! My friend had the same dessert and Goats Cheese Terrine for starter which was lovely and fancy Fish & chips with mushy peas & tartar sauce for mains. The fish was slightly greasy which we were surprised at, but we weren't bothered enough about it to send it back so it wasn't too bad! All in all amazing value for money with the voucher I purchased. Drinks are expensive but it is the Four Seasons so that was to be expected. I'm still thinking about the chowder!!!! That's just how good it was. Oh and by the way, every member of staff was brilliant, so welcoming & friendly and helpful, 5 star service for a 5 star hotel!

We had an amazing lunch here today courtesy of a menupages voucher. The experience was wonderful from the moment we entered the beautiful rdining oom until the last sip of wine was consumed! Fresh bread and poppadums with pesto and olive oil were brought to our table upon arrival, it was a great start to the meal. The was a huge selection on the set menu, we decided start with penne, the portion was huge and the tomato and chilli oil sauce gorgeous and salmon which was also beautiful. The fish and chips and beef and guinness pie were also superb but the best part of the meal was definatley the desserts, spicy pear crumble arriving hot straight from the oven with a beautiful custard and ice cream side and a banoffi and chocolate sundae were promptly devoured. The service throughtout was faultless, we will definately be back in the next few weeks.

Went here for a family meal and was delighted with my meal. As a vegetarian i am usually stuck with salad or pasta or some aubergine monstrosity, but instead i had the option of treating myself to tofu with ginger and mushrooms. It was absolutely beautiful. The service was superb too, the kids didn't like their juice cocktails and were able to switch them for more favourable ones with no hassle at all, i will definitely be returning.

My girlfriend and I came here on Sunday afternoon for tapas. The food was superb. We had several portoins of carpaccio and several meatballs which were just amazing. We also tried pretty much everything on the menu other than foie gras because I dont agree with how its made. The staff were very friendly and the location is just stunning. The hotel is beautiful. Would definitely love to return here.

the pan fried Foie Gras with lemon froth was both a revelation and perfection itself. Excellent food and service. The high prices were good value for money! At least until we saw guests being seated wearing faded jeans and t-shirts! Most people I agree to be bound by dress code and in fact enjoy special evenings, only to have the experience degraded because the hotel management failed to follow through on their own standards. A great pity! Msut maek down service , which otherise was great, becasue this incident shows lack of respect for customers who agree to dress code.

Had vegetarian friends visit for the weekend and wanted the whole experience to be memorable. So - where to find a very special meal and a special location? Seasons ticks both boxes. Chef came out and suggested alternative options - some of which were chosen. Service was very professional. The restaurant has recently been decorated and now has a light and Iry ambience. I had the Ceasar Salad to start followed by a vegetable curry and finished with ice cream. Friends had a variety different starters and desserts - all interspersed with interesting between-course treats! Once again, this was a most enjoyable experience. Seasons has now been booked again for a year-end special!

Thanks to my friend that choose this amazing restaurant. Superb interior, quiet, family-friendly, but a little expensive, you could enjoy a full food experience. Special dishes of venison, duck and salmon. For a great occasion it is lovely. Book in advance and free parking (along the street as well for the week-end)

A total rip-off. Microscopic portions at astronomical prices. A starter of "Toasted Scallops" costs €16 and consists of precisely 3 scallops on a plate about two-feet long. And service unprofessional in the extreme. They keep giving you the wrong food, and they forget to fill your wine glass (why do they take the bottle away for god's sake?). Simply unacceptable at these prices.
