I visit here regularly with my mother and sisters for Saturday brunch. I have yet to be disappointed. The food is always delicious (and hot) and the staff are the most pleasant I've come across in a long time. The atmosphere is always good and if there is one (minor) negative, it's that sometimes it can be a little noisy with the blender going at the counter. Overall I will continue to visit at least a couple of times a month and I tell everyone about this place. Excellent food, large portions and great staff.

Good food, slightly arrogant and irrevererent service and make sure you check your change on leaving. They tried to rip me off by €10! A very insincere and unconvincing apology from waiter and owner.

went for a beautiful brunch here on valentines day! It was still quiet, rugby crowd hadn't arrived yet, so obviously the perfect time! I had the eggs benedict with a beautiful detox juice. The eggs were great, served on foccacia bread instead of the usual muffin and the juice, which was made to order, was really fresh. Boyfriend had the french toast and a freshly squeezed OJ. He said it was gorgeous and devoured every morsal! Just as we were finishing the rugby crowd started coming in so rather than having coffees we got the bill, to free up the table for some hungry rugby fans, and both remarked that we'll be back very soon! Top class! can't believe we haven't taken advantage as we live 2 mins away!

Went for lunch Thursday 27/11/14 with friend - note on door entrance no credit cards accepted today problem with machine extremly rude male staff member who asked me 'Do you not have the correct change for your meal' in a frustated tone in front of other customers including my friend after handing a 20 euro note for a 12 Euro.50 cent meal only grace that saved the day was the other female staff who apologised, just hope it was not the Manager who asked me the question in a rude tone. If the restaurant does not carry enough change to give to customers they should do something about it especially if there not accepting cards would not visit again or recommend because of this incident.

It's often very busy here at lunch time so there's a bustling atmosphere, The tables are a bit close together so there's a bit of jiggling your chair around as waiting staff squeeze to get past. I found the service was fast but disorganised... we had several people attending us asking us the same questions several times. Other than that the service was good - the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was good. The superfood salad was made with couscous (which I don't think is a superfood) not quinoa as stated in the menu, but it was still tasty and fresh and came in a generous portion. The prices are what you'd expect in Ballsbridge - I wouldn't say good value but not too bad.

Have to say that from the moment we walked in to Maia the was a feel good factor. The staff were so pleasant and helpful. We had a menupages deal and our Bloody Marys were deliciously spicy. The full Irish Breakfast was presented immediately when cooked, and nothing on the plate felt as if it had been reheated. I had the 3 egg omelette, I asked for savoury and it practically contained the kitchen sink it was so full. They praise themselves for the best roasted coffee in Dublin, think it's true! So well done Maia, we will most definitely be back.

This is a lovely lunch/brunch restaurant and sandwich/juice/coffee bar. It is family driven, which shows in service and atmosphere of the place. It is like being home, and eating very tasty food. My favorite is the burger with one of freshly made juices. Worth trying out..

The food was pretty good. The place was very busy and the staff seemed quite rushed, it was hard to get their attention and it took a long time to get our bill. Also the prices are a bit high for a sandwich but it is Ballsbridge. I would eat here again.
