Came here Sunday night for a meal and drinks with my boyfriend. The service was very slow . Our starter of chicken wings were fine . But then after another wait for our main I have to say it was the most disappointing meal I've had in Dublin in a long time! I had the veggie burger main which was basically mashed sweet potato on a bun smothered in cheddar cheese/ both texture and taste was poor . My boyfriend had the beef burger which was served messy and as he plainly described as a bad burger . On a plus the fries and beer was good but would not be returning for food !! Avoid

went for mid week dinner with a friend, no real vegetarian options, my friend ordered sizzling chicken stir fry as this dish was pointed out by the waitress as having a vegetarian option I ordered it. The dish I got was just the sauce my friend got on her chicken, which was a handful of very thin strips of onion and yellow peppers in a package sauce with over boiled rice. I asked where there no extra veg added as it was a vegetarian dish and they looked at me as if I was mad. wouldn't go there again, there are too many nice places in swords to eat in

Went on a busy Friday night, the waitress was very pleasant and service was quick. Nachos were delicious and my friend had the duck spring rolls which she said were also very nice. She had the noodles with prawns there lots of prawns and it had a lovely flavour. I had the vegetable curry, the curry was very nice but could have done with more variety of veggies in it, there were only peppers and onions so was a bit boring. Overall Good value for money and tasty food and great service

Nice atmosphere, but steaks are burned, portions are overpriced. Seafood chowder is the only thing that is eatable in the place.

Everything good. Steak tender and very good value, but charged €6.75 for a glass of Chardonnay.

Came here for a bite before heading to the cinema. All the food went down well - the days special cajun chicken particularly delighted my mum. The 8oz Angus burger was a lot of eating but clean plates were sent back to the kitchen. I had the smoked salmon salad, it was a little smaller than i expected, but the brown bread were good thick doorsteps (as it should be!) so i was still pretty happy. Nice looking place, comfy seats. Good service - although maybe a little too attentive if I'm honest. if you stopped eating to talk the plate was nearly gone from beneath you

Wrights went off the boil for a while but it's back on form now. Food is excellent and the steak at €10 is really worth it. Great place for a casual meal in Swords.

Myself, my husband, his brother and his wife ate here for lunch on Sunday. I was eager to try the steak deal they have on offer (€10 for steak, chips and onion rings!)- as I heard it was excellent and indeed it was! The deserts were fab too! Everything we had was delicious! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The service was excellent, the staff was very attentive and I would definitely recommend this cafe bar to friends for lunch or dinner!

Went in today for a bite to eat - our first visit (2 of us). Asked waiter if they did chile sauvignon blanc, as there was no drinks menu to hand, was told just New Zealand, so had sparkling water instead. We ordered 1 starter of potato skins, and they took over 20 mins to arrive! One of our mains came out, followed by the other 5-10 mins later....the kitchen was very slow to produce food and the waiting staff were very apologetic-wasn't their fault, but they obviously knew kitchen wasn't efficient today. The roast beef was cut extremely thick and very pink in places - not great. After seeing a drinks menu on another table, we had a look and sure enough they do chile sauvignon blanc!! but at this point we were just fed up, paid and left. First and only visit unfortunately.

Getting more and more dissapointed with Wrights. Christmas experience brought goats cheese on a dish that was on the menu as morzerrla because " chef had no morzerrla left". Unable to stand even the smell of goats cheese and 8 months pregnant the dish was returned and I left with an empty stomach. The time before that- also pregnant- my "well done " steak was returned twice for mooing at me, given my fellow diners were finished eating by the time I got it back the second time, still red, I ate what I could and left about 6 of the 8 ounces on the plate. Willing to give it another go as staff are always friendly and it's a nice atmosphere. Our latest visit saw my hubbie order his favourite- chilli chicken noodles - only for them to arrive without any chilli and very bland. In fairness the waitress was insistent on taking them back when he said they weren't great and a fresh plate arrived, spicy as hell but clearly chilli powder was used- overpowering and not the fresh chilli he was used to. The waitress mentioned on collecting the plates that they were returning to the orginal dish soon- meaning the dish had been changed but still described the same on the menu. Very dissapointing - despite the friendly service three strikes and you're out I'm afraid!
