I'm a regular of the pink elephant for years now and it is one of the best Thai restaurants I've every been in. Can't fault it in anyway and the staff are so lovely. Food has always been fabulous too.

I visited the Pink Elephant on a Friday night with a group of 8 people. The food is very good, particularly the chicken satay and the crispy roast duck, the atmosphere is lovely and relaxing and the staff, cannot do enough for you. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here and I will definitely be returning

We eat in the Pink Elephant on a regular basis, both as a couple and as a family. The food is always good and the costs reasonable. Last night we went to celebrate our 9 year olds birthday. there were 7 of us and besides us there was only a couple of other tables occupied. The food was good but there were delays in getting it out. 5 starters were delivered and we then had to wait 5 minutes for the other 2. similarly with the main courses, 6 arrived promptly and 1 was delivered long after.

I have been to this restaurant a few times and the quality of service and the food has always been excellent. The menu has good choice and the specials are very good and reasonable. The atmosphere is very quite and there is not great ambiance but it is perfect for a good chat. The staff are very friendly and efficient.

Bland food & overpriced. As a regular to Thai restaurants for the last 3 years I can say that this restaurant would not be a recommendation. All three main courses, from different ends of the menu, felt lacking in flavour & diversity. It felt heavy & overcooked. On the bill there was also some extra 10% added on because it was at night time. Definitely leaves a sour taste in the mouth. Give it a miss. There are better alternatives in the city center.

We ate here midweek with a friend. Atmosphere was ok, bit quiet but the food and service made up for it. It was our second time to eat in the Pink Elephant and we haven't been dissappointed. Food is so good. I ordered a Vegetarian Soup and a Veggie Massaman Curry while my husband ordered Chicken Satay Skewers for starters and the Duck for the Main Course. Our friend had Spring Rolls and the Chicken Thai Green Curry. We all loved the food and would definitely return. Eventhough it was quiet, it probably meant we got exceptional service.

What a great resataurant.... My boyfriend and I ate here on a Saturday night a few weeks ago... Service was excellent, food was great and all for a very reasonable price... Even though it was a Saturday night they were offering an early bird menu until 7.30pm... For the main course you could choose any main ingredient e.g. chicken, prawns, beef etc all of which varied slightly in price and choose any sauce from the menu that you liked... A two course meal was about €20 each and because you could choose any sauce from the menu you did not feel your choice was limited by selecting the early bird menu... The staff are fantastic too... We will definitely be back....

This restaurant was one of my worst ever food experiences. We had a Combination starter which was just so tasteless and boring that we thought that anything else would be an improvement. We were very wrong as the main course was even worse. It was just a glutinous mess with overcooked vegetables, hard cashew nuts and tough meat. Totally inedible. The accompanying rice was a hard sticky mess. We complained to the waitress who gave us a vacant apology but we were charged full price. We left without leaving a tip and we definitely will never revisit.

Wife and I went there about 7 p m on Sunday evening, very poor lighting and very few people present,Wife had fish in sweet and sour sauce which was tasteless and my duck was very bland, side dish of noodles was plain and I do mean plain. Service was very slow even though the restaurent was quite empty. I have heard some very good reports about here from friends , maybe it was just a one off bad night. But if they do not get their act together I would doubt their prospects of staying open in the future, which would be a pity.

A gem in swords! The food was tasty with wholesome flavours. It was well presented. However, the menu is hard to follow and you must read everything to understand what is in he dish. The service was great with very attentive waitresses. The atmosphere is very quiet but it is well suited for a romantic meal or a catch up with a friend. Definitely will eat here again!

Recently moved to Swords and Pink Elephant was recommended by a collegue. Her word "Yum." Being a huge fan of asian food, I was looking forward to checking it out. Starters of Wantons, Battered Black Prawns and Duck Spring Rolls. In a word "Yum." Mains were mixed seafood which was squid, prawns, muscles and scallops (and lots of it). Seabass which was beautifully cooked and chicken, which was tender. All dishes were spicy, full of chilli and the jasmine rice was divine. Staff were very friendly and very efficient. The final bill was €65 and well worth it. I would highly recommend it and will be definitly calling here again. They also do takeout. Unfortunately they do not deliver.

Headed here with a pal on a Thursday evening and had a very enjoyable Earlybird. There’s a great range to choose from as the each course of the Earlybird is chosen from the A La Carte menu. We had the combo and chicken satay to start and both were very tasty, mains were a stir-fry chicken and sweet and sour chicken and they were lovely too. Service was efficient but not that friendly- the staff seemed to have changed since my last visit. Worth a visit for the Earlybird.

I have eaten here many times and am never disappointed. The restaurant is quite big but the atmosphere is intimate with candles on the table. The food is very good and high quality - the pad thai is particularly good. The deserts arent great but thats not unusual in Asian restaurants. I will definitely be back.
