Went to Cinnamon cafe today. The food was ok but a little over priced for what it was. The lady manning the till seemed flustered and was rude initially but I put it down to her being busy. I had to wait an age for my wrap and then it turned out they brought me a panini. I stated that I ordered a wrap and instead of a no quibble replacement with some sort of apology for the delay, I was told I had ordered a panini. Strange given that I haven't eaten raised bread in over 10 years since I'm intolerant too it....RUDE RUDE RUDE - I won't be hurrying back. What ever happened to the customer being right?! So disappointing in what otherwise seemed like a nice enough spot.

Have been in here for cake before and noticed the many menus they have, but all very time specific. Went back for lunch and had a tasty sandwich - me and friend had the same one. Coffee wasn't great, but am particularly fussy about that.

i really like the decor of the place and it has a very cozy feel but my sandwich was a bit un-delicious. it was to have hummus, roastedpepper and artichoke in it. it came with all that PLUS raw red onion and was covered in oil. they obviously use jarred roasted pepper, marinated in oil which is fine but.... dab the peppers. they made the sandwich so oily that i nearly had to eat it wth a knife & fork of have my hands be covered in the stuff. the service was just ok. the waitress brought me a jug of water (do people not need ice anymore) since i was going to have a coffee later but didnt want to stay. they said they have wifi and it wasnt working. rather than trying to unplug & replug, she told me " if the connection isnt there it isnt there." i went down the street to coffee society for my coffee

Called in for drinks as we both had eaten earlier. Service was efficient but could have been more smiling. What impressed me was the speed in which tables were cleared once people had eaten. I am judging food on what I saw others eating and in addition their menu was very good. The atmosphere was very good in this establishment which has a definite personality of its own. Looking forward to returning to try some food.

There's a nice feeling of character to this place. It's always buzzing and it seems to really know what it is and what it isn't. It's a great place to stop off for a cuppa to catch up with someone for an hour. Not the kind of place I think you'd go to relax for much longer than that. There's a great range of food and they have a good emphasis on healthy stuff. Their salads are made by Blazing Salads which is always a recipe for success! Great range of fancy herbal teas, and they serve soy milk. Nice to find places with a good range of optional extras like that. It's good value too - €1.50 for a soy hot chocolate which is the best price I've ever been given. Good location just off the square in Smithfield too. I've been to this place many times and am likely to return.
