Two of the diners stuck with the early bird whilst the other two had steak. Unfortunately one had to be returned as just could not be cut. The other was perfect? This baffled us, surely they are from the same supplier etc? The return was handled very professionally and the manager actually came to the table to discuss which cut of steak may be best to have as replacement. Due to fact that two went for Al la Carte on the main course, the meal was considered to be quite expensive. The surroundings are beautiful but the atmosphere was lacking as the restaurant was very quiet that night.

My husband brought me to the Brickhouse last night for a birthday treat. The seafood chowder was delicious and I also had the succulent pork belly. My husband had scallops with black pudding followed by beautiful creamy chicken. We are both huge foodies and will definitely be returning asap. The Staff were also very nice and attentive . Great relaxed atmosphere.

The food was absolutely was fabulous, I had hake and chunky chips and it was Delicious. We had dinner in the downstairs dining room and to be honest the decor could be improved some, its lacking that bit of atmosphere to make it a great dining experience. But in saying that, the staff and food were wonderful and we will definitely be back.

Staff were very freindly. My husband ate from the main menu and enjoyed every bit of it! He went for pork belly and said it was devine. I on the other hand went for the tapas menu......well I say tapas but was like nothing I ever had before. Just dreadful! I ordered 3 dishes and left two and a half. When the waitress came back she asked was everything ok and I said no, my wasn't great at all. Nothing was deducted from our bill and needless to say no service charge was left. Can't say I'll be giving here another go.

Tapas menu excellent. Staff very friendly. Restaurant lacked atmosphere, look and feel like an old hotel stuck in time warp. Thankfully sea views, food and staff made up for it.

Lovely evening and food. Amazing buzz in the restaurant for a Tuesday evening. Great views out over the sea and the staff were efficient and friendly - will definitely be making a trip to Skerries and the Brick House again soon!
