Torres Ibéricos Rioja - Spain
Ibericos is Torres’ first wine produced in Spain’s most famous wine region, Rioja. Deep red cherry colour. On the nose it reveals notes of black ripened fruits and spicy aromas (cocoa and nutmeg) from the wood. Silky entrance in the mouth with pleasant tannins. Long and spicy aftertaste. Tomas Clancy of the Sunday Business Post gave Ibericos 89 points in 2010 and found it a “Polished, glossy and vibrant Tempranillo, bursting with blackcurrent and leather, rounded out with modernist tannic grip.
