We arrived to a booking at 5pm with three children. The waiters gave the impression that children were not welcome and were not very friendly.I had a menupages deal to the value of €64.50 which we did not use the full value and yet we were charged another €21 for the kids meal(which was an adult meal split in two-there was only 6 small chunks of chicken in the dish-it would not have fed one of my children let alone two) I left the restaurant feeling very ripped off and would not return

It' not often I'm surprised by a menu in Ireland, but this one had lots to tempt me. I started with the roast duck and my mum had the tinka prawn, both delicious and generous. For mains I had the divine Goan seafood curry, which was a fab balance of heat and flavour. My mother had the Seabass which came with lemon rice and a heavenly lemon, ginger and black pepper sauce, of which we both finished every drop! We added a bottle of Pinot Grigio and the whole lot was great value at less than €60. The staff were friendly, efficient and polite and the surroundings were comfortable and well laid out. I will definitely be back!

I have been getting take away from Bombay bistro for over 3 years since I moved to lusk. It has always been lovely with authentic freshly cooked dishes. Over the past 3-4 months I have been not 100% happy with the food I have received which surprised myself and my partner as it had always been of such a high standard. Over the past 4 months have received chewy popadoms, dry hard nanns yet always reordered as the main dishes were always flavoursome and tasty. Thisevening was the icing on the cake ordered a jalfrezi which was the most peculiar jalfrezi i have ever tasted, a strong herby sauce with a coconut aftertaste. I actually thought I had received the wrong dish and checked the carton and receipt which both say jalfrezi.. I wil not be ordering again as the money I paid was not worth it..

We got an invite to help celebrate Bombays birthday as valued customers. The staff are friendly and attentive, the food is fantastic and we have never been let down. Would recommend it to everyone and suggest you try something different each time.

Booked for 7pm on a Wednesday. Had a 4 course voucher for 2. Ordered wine and nan and 2 rice. Food was delicious but waited about 20 mins and had to ask for a dessert menu and was met with a frown. Came back after 10 mins to say they had no desserts as delivery due next day. Offered a mulled wine instead but had drank enough so I asked could we have the sides rather than pay and no dessert but told no. Coffee was brought and 10 mins later 2 mint ice creams in small bowl while I was in the loo. Pity really as the other food was lovely. But why accept a booking a day before & not even explain it to us when we arrived!
