Really superb food. We booked a table for 4 for 5.30 as our American friends did not want a late night, having just arrived in the counter, and wanted a quiet meal. We were promised the table until 8 pm and were happy with that. The food was really amazing, every mouthful. We had starters, main courses, rice and nan, with an Australian Chardonnay and an Italian Montepulciano, both of which were perfect with the food. A really enjoyable meal. However we could not stay for desserts as a party of 20 arrived during our meal, and the noise level was too much but that is a small complaint, and it WAS a saturday night. I should have asked for a 'quiet' table. But the meal was exceptionally good.

We decided to get an Indian takeaway and had never visited The Mint Cottage which is local to us, but we had heard the food was good. Our meal cost under 40 euro, for starters, mains, rice and Nan. It arrived after only 20 minutes of ordering, and we were given two beers free. The food was really excellent, we had ordered the mixed platter which was the same price as a main, and it was very good, 2 prawns (slightly overdone unfortunately) 2 pieces of grilled chicken, 2 pieces of lamb chop, one potato cake, and sauces. It was excellent, although would have liked a 2nd potato cake as it was for 2. I had the Saag Gohst, lamb with spinach, and it was very tasty, though not very spicy, and a little watery. My friend had the chili masala gohst, which was very good, again not too spicy although I had asked for extra spicy. The pilau rice was really excellent, and plenty of it, and the nan was perfect. Overall a superior and excellent take out, and hopefully we'll visit for a full meal.

Lovely restaurant. One of my favourites. Food was lovely and lots of popadoms for the kids. No complimentary drink this time but we didn't mind..

We (3) dined at 6:30pm on a Thursday... was quiet when we arrived but atmosphere was good when it filled up. Food was very tasty , particularly the starters, Duck in my case and potato cakes and chicken. Mains were good... helpings not very big ... there could have been more rice served... Service would have been marked better but for confusion with different early bird menus being given and long delay to serve dessert... Marked the value down as have seen better early bird menus with slightly larger selections. Will give them a try again though

Nice restaurant, perfect for a date. Food was yummy and the atmosphere was lovely too. We arrived at 7.30 and the restaurant was quiet but it was buzzing nicely by 8. We'll be back.

Had the early bird menu. Very nice food as always, although it would have been nice to have been charged more, but had more choice. A minor issue was the staff member failing to return our change, but they deserved the tip regardless!

Excellent food, great service and very good value when you order from the early bird menu. We have visited on many occasions so we were aware we were late for the early bird but we were offered the menu with asking.

Just got back from the Mint Cottage tonight with my girlfriend. We arrived at 8.20 or so. The early bird had already finished but the manager was kind enough to still let us choose from the early bird menu. 19.99 pp for appetiser, starter, main course and a desert to share. Absolutely gorgeous. Highly recommend this little gem in the heart of Raheny village.
