We just had a family meal for my niece's 11th birthday, we were all so disappointed. The waiter was cold unfriendly and made us feel so unwelcome. Our pizzas were half burnt and dried up and the Caesar salad was small, soggy and bland. It was way overpriced and a carafe of dreadful wine was 28 euro. We couldn't wait to leave the restaurant and will never visit again. The staff need a personality transplant and a lesson in manners. What a horrible place and such bad value for money. Don't go to ilfornaio if you want a nice family meal.

This is a really good traditional Italian restaurant the food prices are reasonable considering the quality of the food also has a great range of Pizzas which we get take away regular. The only negative is the cost of the wine which is very expensive they need to have a few bottles at €22 to €25 as when we were there cheapest bottle was €32 which is to expensive for what it was.

i wasn't sure of this place at first – anonymous brick building nestled in a suburban setting, a pharmacy and an off licence either side of it. interior is a curio too – in a good sense: the walls are covered with italian imports: olive oil, fine wines, pestos and fresh pasta, all for sale. a display counter runs almost the length of the interior, full of inviting concoctions – cakes and salads, italian delicacies. i am now on my twentieth visit! their food is the easy explanation!! best pizza in ireland? possibly? probably. they also do pasta dishes – and a wonderful lasagne. busy place – so service can be slow; albeit sometimes with no explanation. NB their bruschetta mozzorella is delicious!! fresh bread made in store (apparently in the north-of-naples tradition) served with a tasty parma ham/mini-salad garnishing. so they have a branch in the IFSC – next time i am in town (solo mio or with pals) i will be checking it out

My favourite place to have a great lunch. Fresh homemade pizza and pasta all using highest quality goods. Great range of deserts and wines. Most of the food can be bought to take away like salami, cheeses and fresh bread. I eat lunch here twice a week love all the staff and the coffees are fab too!

This place is lovely. We went on a Wednesday evening and the place was quiet - maybe a little too quiet. The food was good the the bread was beautiful!

Nice little restaurant has alway been very quiet when Ive visted though. Prices are a little high for the area, but you can get an early bird. Worth a visit.

My third visit to this restaurant and food was delicious as usual. If you want real Italian fresh food, this is the place to go. I had the prawns in a spicy tomatoes sauce, served on a pan, covered with a pizza bread. It was delicious. Staff were very friendly and service was very good. Maybe a little too fast but that's not a complaint...maybe just give guests a little more time between course. All in all SUPERB !! I will be back

Eleven of my family, including 4 children, had a wonderful night. We were celebrating my sons 40th birthday and everyone thought the food was excellent. Was not expecting the standard of food to be so high, but we were pleasantly surprised. We will certainly return in the near future.
