Booked for a large group expecting to be seated in one of the alcoves in the bar area - instead found that they had set up a lovely table in the restaurant area. There were a few diners there when we arrived but soon we were the only group left. The staff and service was excellent - our drinks orders were dealt with swiftly and they held on for the last one or two of our party before taking food orders. The food was delicious - I had the beer battered cod and it was so fresh and delicious I had no room for the accompanying fries and mushy peas. Not everyone ordered food but those that did were more than happy with their meals. The only minor issue was the lack of atmosphere as we were so far removed from the rest of the customers and the lighting couldn't be dimmed so it didn't really feel cosy. That said, we were delighted when we were told that they had reserved three tables for us in the bar area for after our meal - so we were able to go and watch the band and enjoy another drink or two. Will definitely try Oasis again - it would be a great spot for a family meal too.

Was given a voucher for the Oasis bar and have to say was more than pleasantly surprised. The surroundings were pleasant certainly not 5 star but more than adequate. On to the food the starters were both gorgeous, fishcake which was full of fresh fish and deliciously light. I had the chowder which unlike any chowder I had before was a plate of fish with a small sauce to the side - not what I was expecting but absolutely delicious. On to mains where we had steak and a burger. Both were delicious - only downside was that mine was to include onions which were missing whilst the steak was to include onion rings. Whereas other tables got lovely looking rings we got what looked like frozen onion rings you would buy cheap in supermarket (maybe they ran out). However this was the only downside to an otherwise very enjoyable meal. The glasses of wine were substantial and tasty. OK not what would be described as fine dining but a very enjoyable meal. I would return.

This bar and grill serves 5 star restaurant food at recession busting prices. We booked a table for two through menupages and found the whole experience excellent. There was ample parking and the service was friendly and attentive. We ordered the fish cake & bruschetta, I highly recommend both. The mains, lamb shank & salmon were equally as good and the sides orders are great value at just €2.50 each. For desert we had the Vanilla cheesecake and OMG it's to die for. The wine is by the glass and are very big measures, but I would have liked the option of a wine menu. Overall we enjoyed the night thoroughly and would definitely go back for more.
