Lali's has a really wonderful location and little competition nearby. The Italian fare is passable and reasonably priced but sadly they need to decorate and up their game condsiderably in the kitchen to stop me from continuing 5 mins further to the many, better and varied options in Malahide.

I've been here many times because I live nearby and it's not expensive. Aside from the fact that it is very shabby and the toliets are awful, the main problem is that the food is hit and miss. If you stick to certain dishes it's fine but overall its just not good. The last meal I had here was truly awful. It's such a shame. The owner just doesn't care any more and the chef isn't qualified. The setting is great. I wish someone would buy it out and start again.

Garlic bread was burnt and tough as old boots. Basically just 2 slices of Pat the Bakers with cheese on top. My meal was nice but my friend had lasagne which was also burnt. Another had the chicken meal which was small for the price. Basically a chicken fillet with sauce and a few cut up baby potatoes and bits of pepper on the side. n2 very loud women sat down right beside us at a table when the rest of the place was empty - then proceeded to engage the waiter in conversation for longer than necessary on more than one occasion, talking loudly over us so we couldn't have a conversation of our own. Very rude of them and the waiter who should have realised by our demeanour that we were annoyed. nI don't think I'll be going back here.

Have been here several times,absolutely love it, super friendly owner, excellent service and fantastic food.For a wed night it was very busy. I would highly recommend Lalis to anyone,Great value for money.

First time here and I'll be back. We both had pizzas which were delicious. Wine is reasonably priced. The staff make this place very special, warm and friendly! Decor etc is nothing fancy but with service and food like that I look forward to the next visit!!

Great little family run restaurant. Perfect Italian food, nicely cooked. It's informal atmosphere and inexpensive menu make it great for families and very tempting to return nightly!!

Will definitely be back. We had a Great value earlybird meal. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere and the food was authentic and tasty.
