Woodstock was established in 1993, a home for down-to-earth food at the heart of crazy, cultured, historic Phibsborough. Deli, bakery, carvery, wine bar, and now makers of the best pizzas in Dublin (so we’re told!) Woodstock is the repose of locals, worker bees and passers-through in search of a good feed and a catch up. Famous for its atmosphere, Woodstock is open seven days a week for slap-up breakfasts, home-made cakes, hearty mains, wholesome salads, wines by the glass, leaf tea and barista-made coffee.
Little ‘ol Woodstock recently had a makeover and we stripped the restaurant back to better reflect its relaxed functionality: exposed beams, a polished concrete floor, lots of stainless steel and blackboards to tell you about what’s cooking since the menu changes every day. We’ve also added a wine bar, some kitchen tables and leather chairs to make Woodstock the perfect place to share a meal, a cuppa or a glass of wine with friends.

I love the food here. I had a pulled pork sandwich which was delicious and my friend had the carvery and was totally stuffed afterwards. I've been here several times - Woodstock is great for no-nonsense meals at a great price. Highly recommend

The Woodstock café is a local treasure, whether you want a yummy slice of cake & a coffee, breakfast, dinner or lunch this place does it all. They do a full Irish breakfast which is amazing! I've tried the dinner once and they give you great portions and there's great options too.

A friend took me here yesterday. I was delighted to see it so busy inside, a testament to its good food I hoped. We were looking for an Irish breakfast, 5 items+tea/coffee and toast €7. For every additional item, €1 extra. I was happy to see such a good choice. Grilled rashers instead of fried, plum tomatoes sliced lengthways, big sausages, scrambled eggs with poached available on request. We parked in the carpark at the Shopping Centre across the road. Will go back.

Had lunch here yesterday. I ordered the roast pepper and goats cheese bagette. They had run out of baguettes so they gave me a sandwich instead. The sandwich arrived partially toasted on the outside but it actually made the whole thing a bit soggy. There was a lot of goats cheese on it too. Coffee was nice though and they had lots of vegetarian options so might come back in earlier sometime to see if I can order something different.

Nice bistrot. Owners very kindly gave all proceeds on the day to CF Hopesource to help children with Cystic Fibrosis. Parking available off nearby Connaught Rd (don't waste time on phibsboro road itself).

I have frequented here regularly over the years. Its a busy cafe with a high turnover of customers. Its a carvery style set up for breakfast through to dinner. There is great choice for breakfast & lunch/dinner with normally 2 types of potatoes & veg on the go. They have a sandwich bar, a great choice of desserts and bake there own brown bread! The food is of a very good standard and its reasonably good value for what you get. The staff are usually busy but friendly.

Went in here today as I heard good things about it ,but was complete disappointment , was looking for good Sunday luck and went for the carvery , got roast lamb and it was tasteless, they didn't have much option vegetables wise , only some roasted root veg which for the amour of oil it had on them were Also tasteless and don't get me started on the peas, taken straight from the freezer and not even cooked fully, the whole meal was utter let down and I will not be returning again , look elsewhere if your looking for a decent meal

I popped in for a bite to eat on a busy lunch rush. The service was friendly and fast. The food was good value. I had a coffee. There was no soy but do have rice milk instead. The food was yum too. The portions looked large for the roasts and the sandwiche and soup I had were delicious. Well done guys.

I called in here for breakfast with a friend the other day and I really enjoyed it. I found the service to be extremely friendly and efficient. The lady clearing the tables worked extremely hard and kept the place very clean. We both had breakfasts consisting of different items. The food was hot and very tasty. In addition the toast was fresh from the toaster. There breakfast menu offers very good value for money. The atmosphere was great with a steady flow of customers. This eatery also offers a great range of gluten free products. I will return here again and the next time I will try lunch.

Dropped in here for breakfast this morning, wasn't dissappointed. Good service and nice food, reasonable prices. This place seems to be popular for breakfast as anytime I go in or pass by in the morning it always has a good crowd inside. staff are always friendly and you can sit with a cup of tea and the paper and they wont bother you. i would recommend their cakes in the afternoon if you fancy a treat!! Definitely one of the better spots for eating in phibsboro

I enjoy the Woodstock 'eating house' frequently for breakfast, lunch, tea/coffe and dinner. Its food is plain but good with desserts and scones being excellent. Its a little crowded with tables, is self-service and has a range of clients from across society. This lends it a really lovely communal atomsphere. The staff are very helpful to all and take real care to ensure everyone can enjoy their food. Woodstock is an institution Phibsboro can be proud of! It is really worth dropping in, reading the paper, enjoying good coffee and excellent treats while observing life go by.

Went here late afternoon - After 2, so it was not too busy. I ordered a chilli chicken baguette. Chilli was very mild, chicken was processed, no noticable salad, came with lots of crisps on the plate, classy! Ordered, sat down, waitress came over nice and speedily, forgot to give me a napkin. Atmosphere was grand and quiet. €4.50, not worth it. Will give it another go but not expecting much.
