My husband and myself are regular visitors to Smiths we have only ever had absolulty delicious food on every visit we find it great value and the staff is always friendly , there is a nice cosy atmosphere durning the week we are looking forward to our next visit ,

I would recommend the Veg. Sizzler, cooked on premises! Most of the food seems pre- frozen before cooking. Bruscetta should not come with cheese, or call it a crostini. It a nice spot to relax in and quiet enough to have a chat too:)

Had the worst lasagne of my life here this week. Only for the fact I was in a major hurry I would have sent it back. It was dreadful, a microwaved pile of cheddar and microwaved molten cheddar and pasta. Terribly seasoned too, served with 1/2 kilo of cold chips and a small amoutn of salad spilling out off the side of the plate... Dreadful However, the service was prompt and friendly, but that's the only positive thing I can say

I ate here recently with a friend and we were both quite happy with the food. We both had stir fries, one beef and one duck and they were both delicious with plenty of vegetables and rice. There is a lovely cosy atmosphere to Smiths; it would be perfect for a casual dinner and you will go home warm and fulfilled. I would definitely recommend it to people who live nearby, it’s worth a visit!

Apart from being a very nice pub, I've also had the pleasure of eating here 3 times in the past few months. For pub grub the menu has an excellent range. The portions are generous and the quality is very good. The place is clean with plenty of seating and there's also a nice beer garden at the back.
