We went early on a Saturday evening and had the early bird menu which was great value. The restaurant was full by 06.30pm and the ambience was very goof. The food was fantastic and the service was excellent, attentive but not over the top. I would Highly recommend this restaurant.

Food was really good (thank you chefs) but extremely disappointed with the service. In fact worse service we have experienced. We had put a lot of thought into where we would book for a special occasion with 12 people and on the night we were never asked if everything was ok; had to ask on numerous occasions for water, wine etc, not a smile from the waiters or made to feel the evening was “special” in any way. Seabank Bistro is on the pricey side but you don’t mind if you have good food and service. Sorry but would certainly not recommend for a special occasion - pity as the food was good. Maybe this review will shake them up to have “service with a smile” as we did call to give them feedback but felt our comments were completely brushed over.

Party of 2, only 6 other people in the Restaurant and the service was extremely slow. The Manager was very attentive to the clients he already knew. The beef and lamb were excellently cooked, the chef is very competent and the server very polite. However there are too many tables, very dark inside, no atmosphere and overall it is very bad value. The restaurant, seems to thrive on the description as they call it a Bistro. I certainly would not recommend it as there are many much nicer places to dine in this beautiful village of Malahide.

hi a fantastic dinner at the seabank, this is a small restaurant that is prob best not for young kids (speaking as a mum of young kid) v relaxed atmosphere where you can see the kitchen from the dinning area, Our waiter was attentive but not over board recommended a wine to go with our dinner and it was perfect even though we both had v different meals, my husband went with the fish for both starter and main and loved it, I have chicken dish and it just melted in your mouth. Highly recommend this place to anyone!

We couldn't have been happier with our experience. The seafood platter for starters and the beef fillet for main course were delicious. The staff and atmosphere were beyond amazing and we were treated very well. Thank you!

Some friends & I tried the early bird menu - none of us had been before. Despite it not being a cold night the restaurant was quite cold. There are too many tables and the service is slow. The food was nice, portions are quite small and nothing special for the price. It would not be one on my list to return to in a hurry.

Simply a wonderful cosy hideaway in bustling Malahide ! The seafood is just delightful. All simply cooked and presented with no fancy frills. Just let the quality of the food take over. Sort of place you could just pop in after a walk with herself and order a main course with nothing else. Delightful! Home from home

We visited this "family restaurant" on a family occasion. Staff were very rude especially, manager and owner. Experience left a very bad taste in our mouths. Food overpriced and over cooked. We would not recommend and will not return.

We arrived and were seated our companions were delayed but this was not a problem. We had an early bird menu one had a warm Cooleeney goats cheese salad with figs, poached pear and walnuts two had spicy garlic and lemon aioli crab cakes. For the mains two had the fish of the day which was Sea Bass on the bone one had beef fillet medallions with a whiskey mushroom or pepper sauce there was an extra supplement for this €5 and another had fish and chips and one desert of pavlova. we glasses of red and rose wine, cokes and two pints of Guinness. We paid about €138.00 excluding tip. The waiter we had chatted to us while we were waiting for our friends and we enjoyed his conversation. We were glad we had booked as it was quiet full for a Wednesday night. We all agreed the food was very good and great value for money. We will be back.

Our second trip to Seabank, very much enjoyed it again. We live nearby but both trips to this restaurant make it feel like you're on holiday or something. Very cozy and lovely time of evening to watch the sun go down with a sea view. My wife and I both had the monkfish Thai red curry - superb! I'm also told the pavlova was "almost" has good as the exalted version from childhood. Lovely wine and great choice of craft beers should you so be taken. Could very well get used to escaping reality for a couple hours here more often.
