Good choice, had has been here for a drink one evening recently after a meal in another restaurant and decided it was worth a look.nFrom moment went in, staff were friendly, food was excellent and loads of lovely people. Nicest pub in Malahide by a long shot and will definitely be back. Plenty of choice too and quiet reasonable too. Not too packed although was a Monday night. Will be back

Great New clean pub not like the pic shown. Has been done up to a very high standard definitely the nicest pub in Malahide by far. Pint is perfect food is above pub grub standard Wings are the best. Nice beer garden. Everything is very well thought out will be going back soon :)

Had a nice late lunch here with husband and two kids - it was busy but we managed to find a seat upstairs. Friendly efficient service. Food was fine - chicken wings, burgers, wraps - chips were the frozen variety and not very nicely cooked, a pity as nice fresh ones would have made the meal. Felt the drink prices were a bit steep - 2.90 for a can of soft drink and 0.90 for a blackcurrant cordial was a bit much. Also ordered two glasses of Chardonnay and one was charged at 5.75 while the other was charged at 6.50 (didn't notice this till later). Nice enough atmosphere. Might try again sometime - would love to try the downstairs part as there seemed to be more of a buzz.

Had a very enjoyable experience here from the moment we walked in until the moment we left. Even though it was very busy, there was no delays on food or drink. I had a very tasty chicken dish and thought it was top notch. The bar has a great selection of whatever your choice of drink is. I reccommend one of the delicious cocktails! There's also a real quirky feature where the Guinness kegs are kept..ensuring you get a great pint of the black stuff here. Staff were really friendly and even helped give directions to the local attractions like Malahide castle and Portmarnock beach. Looking forward to another few drinks here soon.

couldn't have picked a better spot!! from the minute we walked in the door the staff were amazing! greeted by the owner, waitress appeared at the table immediately with a menu and took a drinks order to save us a trip to the bar-which in itself is something to look at! we were waiting no time at all for the food to arrive which, when it did was great! the menu is pretty wide so there's something to suit everyone and taking location and quality into account the value is great!! had a very enjoyable afternoon watching the rugby on one of the many screens in the venue, really lovely atmosphere, great food and wide selection of drinks and cocktails, couldn't fault the staff if I tried!! major thumbs up to the new renovations as well and we will DEFINITELY be coming back. Comes highly recommended!!

I'm a fan of Fowler's in Malahide. Tasty food, good value, nice pints, friendly staff. Couldn't fault it... the new decor is really nice, it's a relaxing place to have a couple pints with your friends. Looking forward to some cool beers in the new beer garden in the summer time. I'd recommend a trip there, you won't be disappointed.

had the misfortune of deciding to have lunch here, service was very poor , had the fish cakes for starter , it lacked taste and imagination, they have obviously put alot of effort into the decor and the surrounds are nice , its a pity they have not gotten around to improving the food or the service yet. left most of the main course the chips you could not even eat , and plus for what the food is it is seriously over priced.

Is Folwers Pub Smyths? I was there on the August Bank Hol weekend and noticed that the name of the pub had changed. I didnt see a huge differnce between this place and the old Smyths. I ordered a club sandwich and my boyfriend ordered a wrap, overall the food was nice. I have eaten in Smyths a number of times previuosly and have never been 100% happy, particaullary with the service, Lets hope that Fowlers pub changes this.
