I had brunch here on Saturday with two friends. Unfortunately, to say the food was of poor quality is an understatement. We all had eggs, not 1 of them was cooked the way you would expect a poached egg. We actually suspected they were reheated as they were so hard. The potato cake was rock hard and drowned in pepper. Last but not least, the worst offender, the 'hollondaise sauce'. Thick, cold and custard like, I can honestly say I've never seen anything like it. The decor is nice which is why I gave atmosphere 2/5. Now I have to say the staff were very nice, but unfortunately we're not sufficiently staffed for the busy lunch. We did not see one waiter throughout our meal, by the time someone came to clear we just wanted to leave. 3 unfinished plates were cleared yet nobody asked if we enjoyed our meal. My best guess is the chef called in sick and just anybody jumped in. We felt absolutely robbed. Needless to say we won't be back.

A friend and I ate breakfast here on a Sunday morning. I'd been here for lunch before and some small touches they've made to the decor since my last visit have had a lovely effect, adding to the coziness of the surroundings. It was relatively quiet while we were there (it was early) and the overall atmosphere was really relaxed. Breakfast was wonderful. I had the eggs royale - perfectly poached eggs with smoked salmon and hollandaise and a slice of home made brioche while my friend had a delicious looking pain perdu. Seeing the fresh brioche proving on the counter explained the freshness of it all. The food is cooked in sight in an open plan kitchen. I'll definitely be back here - there's loads to like and loads more to try

We visited this restaurant last Sat night four of us travelled from the South side . Had a table booked for 5 for 6.30pm till 9 pm .have been here before and liked it . Having ordered drinks then our meal all was going well until a waitress told us that we had to leave by nine . Did not think this was necessary as it was just gone 8.30pm . We paid the bill which came to €350 including tip. Again we were asked to vacate the table this was before nine . In most restaurants you would have been offered a complimentary drink when you spend 70€ a head . The attitude was they had our money and had a table of 13 coming in for 9pm. As for the food most of it was okay although the duck was not great . Have travelled out to Malahide a lot to eat as some of our friends live near here . Will not be going back here again as they are so many nice restaurants here that appreciate your custom

I had lunch here with my work colleagues, and I must say enjoyed it very much. The food was really good and good value too, small and intimate restaurant.

Great value for money in this lovely French restaurant in Malahide. The staff were very welcoming and attentive throughout. There was a varied selection available on the menu and the specials appealed. The quality of the food we ordered was excellent and well cooked. There was not an overdue wait between courses, not did they arrive too quickly. nnWe had two starters, two mains, one shared desert and two glasses of wine. All for under 80 euro. On a Saturday night in malahide that is great value. Well with a visit.

Really lovely meal in a gorgeous cosy and welcoming setting. Scallops were fantastic. Steaks cooked to perfection. Service was great and overall it's a place we'd recommend without hesitation.

I have a strange feeling that I have eaten here but i'm not entirely certain of when or indeed if, I have ever even been here. I will review the restaurant none the less as it is my want. The Atmosphere: nondescript so I'll award 3 stars. The food: I can't recall but seen as im very hard to please I'll award at least Four stars (well done). Service: Unmemorable but yet I was catered for, 4 Stars! Value: 5 Stars. I hope this was of help.

Excellent value but we felt rushed. Our mains came out immediately after our starters had been cleared. Food was nice and service very friendly. Very small restaurant, felt like our table had been stuck in and was a bit in the way

On arrival we were met by Chris. The atmosphere was lovely, service was expert and non-intrusive. The food was great and to top it off the food was beautiful. Nothing was too much trouble for Chris and the staff. The only thing I would suggest is that there should be a wider choice of dessert. We were a party of 6 adults with diverse tastes and everyone was catered for. I would highly recommend this restaurant and say well done to Chris and his staff. We will be returning very soon to enjoy your lovely food.

Welcomed on arrival by Chris the owner. Friendly wait staff.Nothing too much trouble. We were a party of 7 adults. The salmon was lovely with decent sized portions. The Monkfish wrapped in bacon was delicious and the creamed mash was very smooth. The wine was well priced and a good range. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant. A new and welcome addition to Malahide.
