Cape Greko Malahide opened its doors in November 2004. Cape Greko is the first Greek & Cypriot restaurant to open in Malahide. With wonderful views of the marina and traditional Greek Cypriot cooking Cape Greko was an instant success.
Our head chef, Demetris, carefully planned his menu taking influences from different regions in Greece and Cyprus and bringing them together for Irish people.
Cape Greko is named after the beautiful Cape Greko peninsula in Cyprus. We have taken inspiration from this area and attempt to recreate the beauty and simplicity in our restaurants.
Cape Greko’s logo is an amphora. Amphora are jars with narrow necks and two handles, used by ancient Greeks for transporting oil or wine.

AWARDS & PRIZES

We seek out the best establishments in every part of Ireland for inclusion in our guides and, because we work independently and without charging a fee, you know that we can be trusted to lead you to the best places over a wide range of categories. In 1900, André Michelin published the first edition of a guide to France to help drivers maintain their cars, find decent lodging, and eat well while touring. In 1926, the guide introduced the star to note good cooking; two and three stars were added in the early 1930s. The guide awards one to three stars to a small number of restaurants of outstanding quality.

Had a really fabulous meal here with my 3 teenagers, the food was so fresh and there was something in the menu for everyone, including my daughter who is vegetarian.

First time trying greek food and enjoyed this experience. Lacking some atmosphere though and felt wine (bottled) was overpriced.

This place is fabulous. The food was lovely and the service was exceptional. My friends dish wasn't available and the waiter went into the kitchen to see if they could make something similar for her. Great place to go. I'll be back...

My first visit to Cape Greko and was not disappointed. We shared the Seafood Meze and I had the Prawns in Ouzo served with Garlic Potatoes. My other half had the Lamb Kebabs, followed by coffee. The food was delicious and the service excellent. Waiting staff very friendly and helpful when we were making our choices. Won't be my last visit. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

I would recommend this restaurant only if you really like greek food. The general decor and ambiance of the establishment isn't anything to talk about, and the service quite frankly was incredibly unfriendly, even sour, but the food was satisfying it has to be said.

This is a great place to dine with a large menu to work through visit after visit. I rate this place very highly for food and service but above all value for money. The two course lunch menu with tea or coffee €13.50 is exceptional value on weekends, whilst the Early bird menu available from 5.00-7.00pm Monday to Saturday and all day Sunday is just €18.95 for two Courses or Three Courses for €21.95. I always look forward to eating here and can’t wait to return.
