Cafe Provence is situated in the heart of Malahide village, North county Dublin. During the day, it is a great place to have breakfast, a delicious lunch or a coffee & scone. It is by far the most popular choice in Malahide for daytime dining. Much of our success is due to serving a wide range of delicious home-cooked food and meals as opposed to just sandwiches. We also have some tasty blackboard specials each day for extra variety.

At 5pm we offer an a la carte menu which is quite different from the daytime menu. There is a nice selection of dishes including fresh seafood, steaks, duck, lamb, chicken, pasta and risotto. We also offer an early bird menu all night from Sunday – Thursday and Friday - Saturday from 5pm – 7pm, which is superb value (2 courses for €16.95).

Our chefs and floor staff are highly motivated, and dedicated to ensuring that you have a delicious meal and a really pleasant dining experience. We look forward and welcome you to the next time you dine with us.

Great spot for breakfast, Lots of options on the menu, from porridge to a full fry-up. Service was flawless. Lovely local spot.

Two persons on a very wet day!! Both had the 3 egg omlette, one with soda bread, the other with toast. Both very tasty. A busy place but service was good. No milk on the table & we had to ask for condiments. There could be less tables as the place feels very cramped and there is not much room between the tables. Nice for a quick meal but you would not spend too much time here.

Glad to see the place has been decorated and brightened up since I last ate here almost a year ago. Too many tables cause an uneasy feeling if you had to vacate due to an emergency. Plenty of tables available for the two of us. The service was good, the scrambled egg and ommlette were quite tasty & the soda bread is traditional. Quite pleasant for lunch.

Very nice restaruant food excellence ,the waiter was a bit on the not so friendly type. And the only very low point was the carpet up the stairs to the toilet was appalling

I had lunch on 30/09. I ordered baked potato and it was soggy and not at all what was described on the menu. I could not finish it.

This is a lovely restaurant in the heart of Malahide village. It is extremely popular because of its good value in money and food therefore it is ALWAYS full. I would still recommend this to anyone out in Malahide as it is well worth a stop for a bite to eat.

Two of us came for lunch. Nice location but restaurant is too crowded, when busy. Too many tables, impossible to move around restaurant easily. Some items on menu are overpriced but specials seemed popular with diners.

I just moved to Malahide and had the early bird here for the first time on Saturday! Had the mussels followed by trout which were both delicious at the price of €17.95. My boyfriend had the chicken rillettes and bangers and mash, also very tasty. The place was very busy and service friendly and helpful. Great coffee too!

I hadn't been here for years so glad I went again. Called into meet a friend for lunch. I had to queue for a while but I didn't mind as I got into conversation with two really nice women about restaurants. The staff kept us up to date about wait times etc. As I was waiting for my friend at the table I had a chat with a really nice waitress. She was just finishing her shift however the guy and girl who served us were very pleasant and efficient. The food was most enjoyable and reasonable in price. I chose a chicken vol au vent whilst my friend had a chicken fajita. The atmosphere was buzzing on this cold and rainy day. Overall a very enjoyable dining experience and I would both recommend and return here.

My husband and myself had a lovely unplanned lunch here. The place was buzzing and we arrived just in time as a shortly after there was a que for tables. There was a really good selection on the menu and I had a lovely Ceaser salad. My husband had a delish steak sandwich and we shared the yummy chips. I would definately go back here and recommend it to anyone who is in the area. My only disappointment was that they did not do Soya milk coffees, I was happy with the black coffee I got but I thought now-a-days it was pretty standard for cafes to do soya. The staff were really friendly and natural.

Absolutely super - breakfast is excellent everytme we go. Breakfast ciabatta and the french toast with maple syrup. Wow. Great coffee and fast , friendly and efficient service. We see it open for dinner but its always empty - a shame as it could be really something at night too.

Love it, I tend get a Caesar salad where ever I go so would be particular about the flavour. Caesar salad here is lovely and fresh and the dressing is fab (even use it to dip the chips into)
