Absolutely disgraceful experience today in Eleven. I cannot believe the attitude of both staff and management today. Having arrived to a busy cafe we were left standing for 15 minutes managing to find a seat without anyone attending to us Staff were disinterested in customers (not all but particularly the male staff) ignoring calls from customers and being extremely slow when clearing tables or dealing with customers! I have never seen anything like it! We then waited 20 minutes for a coffee!! We then waited 20 minutes for a COLD fry!! I returned it unhappy…. I don’t tend to like cold toast, mushrooms and beans! I asked for soft eggs they were hard. The manger took my fry away to rectify it… and guess what! I got returned to me…. wait for it… a COLD fry!! Cold sausages, cold rashers, cold toast and now my coffee was cold!!! My eggs were soft now though. So soft I could see the uncooked albumin!! I felt sick… I couldn’t eat the cold sausages or beans or rashers and asked the male staff member to relay my dissatisfaction to management so they could consider how they would compensate me. The male staff I requested this from was completely disinterested in my dissatisfaction barely taking any notice of me. When I got to the counter to pay I asked the male staff member if this had be done he said yes, but I would not be compensated and that was that! I asked to see the manager….. he said the same! He ignored my complaint and started arguing with me at the counter! Basically, he’d given me a second fry and he wasn’t accepting that I wasn’t happy with it! I was asked to pay the FULL price for a fry I hadn’t eaten or was satisfied with. I refused… the manager checked with the chef as to what he should do. Apparently the chef makes the calls and told the manager to give me 25% off. I was at the brink of walking out without paying due to the disgraceful treatment I was receiving but I was willing to take the discount which is what I just wanted in the beginning. I advised the manager several times I would be leaving a scathing review and I asked for the bosses number… he had no issues with either of these before offering my… sorry, before checking with the chef if he could give me a discount!! Appalling disgraceful attitude from all involved. I have never been treated so badly before in any establishment actually having a full on argument with a manager at the counter about my eggs!!! He refused point blank to listen to me and demanded full payment! I would never return or advise anyone to attend here for a Sunday morning breakfast!

I often drop in here. I must say, the service and staff are amazing. They always have a smile. Then there is the food, very healthy and tasty.

Stopped in for breakfast with a friend who had not been before. Menus given and orders taken. The service was good (normally better) but we were left to our own devices once the food came. We had to go to the counter to ask for water. A refill would have been good but no staff keeping an eye on the tables - shame as my friend had not been there before. Prices reasonable which is a plus.

Had my 1st and definitely NOT my last visit to Eleven Gourmet cafe today. Stunning cafe- beautifully decorated and situated in a gorgeous courtyard setting, with free parking to the rear of building. Service is warm, exceptionally friendly (our Spanish waiter/waitress were outstanding) and speedy. Food is 100% homemade and delicious. Quiche and salad was best I have ever had.Perfectly seasoned and generous portions. Ham and cheese toastie also delicious I was told by my fellow diners.Scones are melt in your mouth yummy and complemented by aromatic Illy coffee. Decor is very elegant and seats are so comfy- definitely not what you woud expect from your average cafe. Many of the pictures/plants etc are available for sale in shop next door...Place was packed when we arrived, which is a good sign.. A lovely place to meet friends/luxuriate alone over a coffee and cheesecake ,which looked sublime!)....Looking 4ward to my next visit...Keep up the excellent work !

This my 4th time to visit Eleven Gourmet Cafe. The food is delicious. The pastries are homemade and are scrumptious. The BLT on toasted sourdough has a secret ingredient I haven't tased in a BLT before but is worth driving a distance to taste. The prices are very reasonable. I get the impression that the owners (who are working on the premises) are not aspiring millionaires but instead just really want to work at something they enjoy (and are clearly very good at). The atmosphere is perfect whether you are there to meet friends, with a child or on your own. The staff appear to be handpicked for their interpersonl skills and their efficiency. There is ample parkinhg behind the cafe or you can park in the Church grounds (all free). Definitely worth a visit.

I have visited Eleven in Kinsealy on two occasions in the past month and was very plesantly surprised at what I found. It was extremely busy but the service was really good. The seating is so comfortable compared to hard backed wooden chairs found in most coffee shops. It s really bright and a very pleasant, friendly athmosphere with lovely view from window. Its just that little bit different and adding a lovely fresh side salad to bagels and ciabitta sandwiches makes all the difference. I went alone to the restaurant but found a great selection of news papers and books to read. Also, loads of space so that tables are nt on top of each other. I would highly recommend a visit to this Restaurant.

The food and coffee at Eleven are really good, but thats about it. I've been 4 times now, and the service is pretty bad, they've forgotten our order twice. Our last visit was on a Sunday morning about 11am for breakfast, after a long wait they took our order, then 10 mins later discovered that they had no eggs... we won't be back!

I was recommended this cafe by a friend, and came for lunch last weekend. It's a cute place and must be quite popular as it was quite busy! We were greeted straight away and order was taken very promptly, but the service of the food and follow-up (for coffees and dessert) was on the slow side. The food itself was very tasty. I thoroughly enjoyed my ham sandwich (some of the best red onion marmalade I’ve ever had!) and the caesar salad was delicious. The highlight for me was the desserts: toffee praline cheesecake and chocolate fudge cake. I am a dessert lover, and can be quite the critic, but I have to say they were both gorgeous! Overall it was a pleasant lunch with tasty food. Only downside for us was slow service during the latter half of our meal (but probably down to it being busy). We’ll definitely be back, however!

I was invited to join my friend for coffee at this new cafe and had passed it by before I new it. The car park is at the back, accessed from a side road and easily missed. The cafe itself is beautifully decorated and we sank into a lovely squishy sofa and ordered coffees and scones. The glass doors have quite a large gap between them and it was rather draughty and cold. They could really do with some kind of storm porch. The coffee was lovely and the scones really nice with a crispy, sugar topping, and served with jam, cream and butter. Really enjoyed it and am looking forward to returning to try their lunch menu, although I'll make sure to sit further away from the door next time.
