Early bird menu for 3 was excellent value. While I will always have fish in Howth the vegetarian curry was the best I have tasted. The staff are really good and helpful and no rush on us to leave even though we were on the early bird menu.

Dined her on numerous occasions in the past and always enjoyed. However, we had dinner here last night using a Thetaste voucher. We checked the menu online earlier that day and knew what we were going to order, However, we were given a different menu for people using vouchers. Very disappointing. We ended up with a tasteless burger and chips and an average tasting fish and chips for our dinner. Why bother trying to attract customers with these vouchers and then giving them a different menu. This just defeats the purpose of selling these vouchers. Service was efficient as always but unfortunately we will never return.

Varied menu at lunchtime with lots of choices and price ranges. Salmon with Asian slaw was lovely and catch of the day fresh and beautifully cooked. Food was a little slow comig from the kitchen, but we wee not in a hurry. There are some good restaurants in Howth and Brass Monkey is a really nice casual option along with Aqua which is a little more gourmet and formal.

We have eaten in Brass Monkey before and always found it v good. Last night however was a bit disappointed. Service quite slow and I think starter I had of 1 chicken skewer with satay sauce bad value

Average food with indifferent service. Staff appeared totally disinterested in looking after their customers with any degree of charm. Price of a glass of wine outrageous €8.50 - this is a local restaurant charging City Centre prices. Food nice but nothing special. Very expensive for an average night out. Service charge definitely not justified.

We had a group of nine for an annual get together. The service and food was excellent. The Fish Sole special was very well priced and delicious, albeit a bit bony. The trio of starters (Scallops, Chicken wings and mini slider) was a great idea and well presented. Service was excellent and we were not rushed out at the end of a great night

Staff friendly and charming. Complied immediately with our request to close the door (wind blowing through restaurant) and were very helpful with our gluten-intolerant member of the party. The food was excellent and nicely presented. I would definitely eat here again.

We visited The Brass Monkey for lunch on 18th March 2014 with our two children. The four of us were extremely impressed with the lunch menu in particular the children's menu. Well worth a visit for lunch we were not disappointed. I have also been here a few times for dinner the early bird is great value and the restaurant always has a great buzz about it.
